Nyakka:

A highly advanced species that, during an exploration mission, found the ruined worlds that the Voss left in their wake before encountering the Voss themselves. After learning that the Voss were the ones responsible for the ruined worlds the two species went to war and have been fighting each other ever since.

The Nyakka were the first species who could stand up to the Voss and even managed to drive them back for a while,making it their missions to save as many planets and sentient species as they could. Unfortunately, the Nyakka were unable to defeat the Voss, which whittled down their numbers over the generations of warfare, forcing the Nyakka to choose necessity over love to have children. A significant problem with this is that the Nyakka are unable to have any sons unless there is love between the parents. If there is love than they will generally have an equal number of male and female children. If there is not than any conceived males will be rejected by the mother's body. If the mother was fond of the father (despite not being in love with him) than it is possible, but difficult, to have a son. On the rare occasions when a son conceived by necessity makes it to term they will have no powers. Because of this their species is functionally extinct.

 A significant amount of time ago the Nyakka finally met another highly advanced species when they encountered the Vhal, who drove back the Voss all the way to the Voss' homeworld. In the aftermath the Nyakka were given – at the Nyakka's request – what loosely translates as the 'Regenesis System'. This system allowed the Nyakka to be resurrected should they fall in battle. Realizing that they were now undying – as long as they followed the instructions given to them about the Regenesis System – the Nyakka made it their mission to annihilate the Voss.

Drakka:

Dragons from an arid planet that was blown up while the Drakka were in an unusually deep and long hibernation. Despite the fact that their planet had exploded the hibernating inhabitants survived, though they are now scattered across the cosmos. Several landed on Earth with such force that it nearly broke the planet apart. Despite this the planet managed to survive and the Drakka have been working to help heal the planet.

Due to the sheer improbability of them reaching Earth they hold the belief that they were brought to that particular planet due to either the Universe's intervention, or the intervention of another species.

 Drakka females give birth, so the young to not have armoured scales, hence their word for child/baby translates as 'squishy'.

Esek:

The direct descendants of Etain and Jeremy Fadhi. The pair's children interbred with both the Eiseros and the Vampires, the latter of whom who turned out to be Fairies with an extremely strange relationship to blood. Like the Vampires, the Esek are not hemophagic, but share the same strange relationship to blood. Currently the Esek have become so numerous and genetically stable that they are now considered their own distinct people. They are also nearly impossible to kill.

The Auswyrds are a very prominent family of Esek.

Naran:

The self-named Homo Sapien Sapiens. The word come from the proto-Mongolian word meaning 'sun' and the Sanskrit word meaning 'Human being, man'. It refers to their need for sunlight and them being Children of the Light... Though they are deemed by many species to be quite twisted at the moment due to their psychotic levels of xenophobia, insatiable greed, near-pathological need to lie, selfishness, self-centeredness and a seemingly endless list of mental health disorders mostly caused by their brains developing at a too-rapid pace to correct neurological errors during their developmental phase. It should be noted that a certain level of caution when dealing with different species (due differences in psychology, biology and priorities) is always required. Narans, however, take it to the level by being so terrified of perceived differences (real, or imagined) that it induces a violent rage in which they have a complete ontological meltdown, believing the other person to be a demon, monster, or animalistic, regardless of the validity of the accusations they are making. They are not the first species to do this and other species have done far worse things than them, but are still around and are now even well-regarded. Narans are simply the least liked at the moment, with other species demanding the eradication of all Naran being nothing more than hypocrites. For those reasons Narans are defended by other species, citing the Charter of Sentient Rights and Responsibilities... Even if they are not any more fond of Naran behaviour than the ones who want the Narans gone from the Universe. It is the only reason that Narans still exist.

The first Naran was – like all species of their generation – created by a deity. This first Naran was what they themselves would term 'inter-sex' and had an almost extreme amount of genetic diversity. When they presented as male during and after puberty their ovary was taken and the first Naran female was created from that ovary. Other Narans were created in a similar manner shortly thereafter and the descendants of the first Narans went on to populate the planet they later decided to call 'Earth'. Due to their origins this has given Narans an occasionally fluid experience of gender and sexual-orientation that other sentient species native to Earth do not experience, unless they have Naran DNA.

Hijin:

Intermediaries created by star beings for interaction with Narans after the War of Hate. They were created among an island population due to that populations' belief in Amaterasu making it easier. The thought-fields of a people can make it harder, or easier to create the intermediaries due to the high sensitivity of quantum particles/wave forms to being influenced (see; double slit experiment for an example). Their name means 'fire people' and they were meant to help bring Humanity back into Harmony with their planet and the Universe at large. Instead, they are currently persecuted and only listened to by Kwere who know what they are. The Okamichi – a race of Kwere – try to keep them safe.
