Quantum:

This is level of reality in which matter and energy are one and the same, while paradoxically flipping between the two. As this state condenses and/or becomes denser/heavier it eventually becomes more organized until it solidifies – for lack of a better lay term – into what is perceived as matter¹. Put another way; it is energy forced into stillness (relatively speaking) under it's own weight as the energy-matters' very nature causes more energy-matter to start orbiting around each other, which draws in even more until the collection becomes too heavy and collapses inward, condensing into what is perceived as matter; it is solid-state energy. No matter how heavy a person's thoughts are they do not carry enough quantum weight to make something as dense and heavy as, say, granite an illusion².

Photons:

Light, both visible and outside the visual range. They are both particles and waves simultaneously, or can switch between either state and are a quantum wave/particle. They are one vector by which all things in existence are quantumly entangled with the rest of the Universe.

Being subatomic they are very sensitive and can be manipulated using magic.

Quantum Entanglement:

Everything is made of a compressed/condensed quantum state. However, due to how physics works there is a certain amount of energy bleed-off. This is what allows for and creates entanglement. Without it something, or someone effectively doesn't not exist to other's senses.

Bio-photons:

Classified by Narans as 'photons emitted by an organic body'. Photons are emitted by everything and are the reason why light enters the eye in an organized enough manner that a solid object can be perceived in it's actual configuration, rather than a disorganized eldritch nightmare... If it can be perceived at all. Photon emission scattering is a very effective means of camouflage that is frequently used by Fairies and aliens alike. Some use magic to create this scattering effect.

Phonons:

The auditory counter-part to photons, usually measured by Narans by the effects in solids and liquids. They are classified by Narans as a quasiparticle. By other species they are classified as an energy field that shapes space through modulation (tones). Because of this most species are very careful with their words.

Gravity:

 The result of subatomic waveforms/particles being drawn together by vortexing until there is is so much that it condenses and solidifies into matter. This is why it is inherently difficult to effect the weak force on a large scale; the subatomic density and vortexing has to effected without causing loss of cohesion, nor loss of matter back into energy.
