Chapter 2

A beautiful girl approaches behind Avery.

The parents stand up to introduce the girl.

"Avery, this is who we were talking about... her name is Melissa Marybear"

Avery looks at Melissa. She appears to be gentle and sweet, but Avery knows that some girls can be two faced.

"Melissa will be transferring in your school." "Please treat her well, Avery." Avery's mom gives him a stern look.

Avery's parents quickly leaves the two alone.

Avery gives Melissa a side eye. But he didn't expect her to glare back.

Melissa changes her smile gentle smile into a smirk.

"I didn't expect my fiancee to be a wimp that complains to their parents." Melissa banters. "You whimper dog."

"Grr! What do you mean!" Avery responds back. "You cat-like witch."

It seems like Avery and Melissa's relationship were like cats and dogs.
