Liam enters the lecture hall and sits at the last bench as usual. He gets startled by a scream sound as he turns around. Ethan was sitting beside Liam and he got shocked by seeing Liam’s bruised face. And in shock he lets out a scream. 

Ethan in a concerned tone asks Liam “What happened to your face? Who did it? Don’t tell me you get into a fight. Oh no, it's bad this is only the start of semester, who dares to start a fight with some fresher.”

Liam smiles at Ethan’s reaction and says in a calm tone “It was nothing, I just got into some accident. It’s not that serious.”

Ethan sighs at Liam’s words and says “I don’t know man. But if you say so I think it's alright. You can always tell me if things go out of hand, you know that don’t you.”

Liam chuckles at those affirming words and replies with relief “Yeah of course, I know, I can rely on you after all you are my friend. Thanks Ethan.”

Alex enters the lecture room. The students stop gossiping and shift their focus on Alex. Meanwhile Liam was feeling the gaze of desire directed towards him from the front as Alex looked at him. Alex completes his class.

Alex in a calm yet serious tone says “That’s it for the class today. We will cover the next two topics in tomorrow’s class. Study hard and keep your focus on your books.” Alex says the last words looking at Liam who was from the beginning of the class was constantly looking at Alex only. 

“Lets meet everyone in class tomorrow. You can take your leave now.” Alex says looking at students suddenly he remembers something and says again “Liam came to the staff room. I need to discuss something with you.”

Liam gets confused as he stands up from his seat to go out. He tries to think of every possibility for which Alem might have called him. But in the end he couldn’t figure it out and said “Ok professor. I’m coming.”

Liam follows Alex to the staff room. They didn’t say a single word to each other during their way to the office. Liam assumes the situation to be a serious one and thinks Alex is going to tell him to forget about the kiss and all. In his mind, Liam was fully prepared to counter the whole situation but on the outside he was feeling kind of intimidated by Alex.

Alex stands at the door and turns back towards Liam to say something. But Liam was so deeply lost in his thoughts that he didn’t realise that Alex had stopped walking. Liam slams hard into Alex’s chest. He then looks up to look at Alex who was constantly watching Liam without taking his eyes off for a second. 

Alex then says in a low tone “Is the floor that much up to your liking that you forget to look ahead?” 

Liam feels a little bit guilty and tries to back off but Alex again pulls him towards himself.

“Good morning” Alex greets a student who was passing by the office as he pulls Liam away from that student. Alex continues “If you don’t like the view in front, don’t you look at the back. Why are you so distracted? Are my words not passing by your ears?”

Liam looks back and sees the student he was just about to crash into and realises. His mind was wandering from the moment Alex called him out, Alex’s perfume (Fragapane a luxury brand) was also making his mind and heart wander more.

Liam in a little low voice says “Thank you. Why did you call me? What are you planning to discuss?”

Alex looks at that guilty boy in front of him. A smirk appears on his face as his mind wanders to something else and he suddenly says “Why not we first move inside?”

Liam nodded his head and followed Alex inside. Alex takes something from his table and comes towards Liam. Liam suddenly feels surprised and shocked at the same time and tries to play it cool. 

Alex looks towards Liam and says “You forgot this parcel at my home this morning. It was given to me by a man yesterday at the bar. He said it should be given to you.”

Liam suddenly feels his dreams get shattered into small pieces, as the man standing in front of him handed over that stupid parcel to Liam. Earlier when Liam got called by Alex, he had imagined every possible scenario of their talk in his mind. But the parcel thing was like a hit to him. It was new as well as stupid. 

Liam with disappointment on his face takes the parcel from Alex's hands. He looks at Alex who was giving a curious as well as concerned look to Liam. Then Liam says “You wanted to give me this parcel. Thank you. Is there anything else you want to talk about?”

Alex shakes his head in rejection. Liam gets frustrated at this point, for him it feels like Alex was intentionally avoiding the kiss thing. He was not avoiding but plainly was ignoring the fact. Liam in frustration says.

“Ok, then I shall take my leave.” Liam looks at Alex wearing expressions telling him to stop him. But Alex fails to take the hint and signals towards the door. This makes Liam more than angry and he reaches his limit and finally speaks out his mind. 

“I see so you are never going to bring it up. I think that meant nothing to you. But for me it was harassment because I was asleep and you took advantage. So, brace yourself, I'm going to make you regret it.”

Alex chuckles at Liam’s frustration and leans towards Liam who was standing beside the table and whispers in a low yet husky voice in his ears “I think you have really lost your memory of that day. Because if you didn't, then you won’t even dare to say such thing in front of me. Want me to refresh your memory. You know, I’m more than willing to do that.”
