Liam was intimidated by Alex's move. Liam cheeks got flushed with red color and in his heart, he was somewhat feeling the joy of this closeness. As Liam was feeling the moment, suddenly Ms. Elena entered the staff room. Alex gets away from Liam and stands at a distance. 

Liam greets her and takes his parcel and leaves the staff room. He was still in daze as he moved out. Liam completes his scheduled lectures of the day and gets ready to go home after a busy and tired day. 

As Liam was heading towards the college’s main gate to go home, he suddenly runs into Alex. Alex looks at the parcel in Liam’s hands which he still hasn't opened. He then looks at Liam and says.

“Liam, don't you want to know why you met that accident yesterday? You should open it.” Alex points towards the parcel. 

Liam then looks at the parcel, he didn’t get the chance to open it. He looks at Alex and senses his curiosity and decides to open it then and there. But Alex interrupts him midway and says again “I think you should sit on the bench over there.”

Liam nods his head and they both go to sit on the bench in the front lawn of the college. As Liam was opening the parcel, curiosity inside Alex was building up little by little. Alex was curious to know what mess Boris was planning to create in his life further.

Liam opens the box and suddenly his hands freeze at the sight of surprises inside the box. Liam gets scared, sweat starts to get formed on his forehead as he takes a look inside. Tears rolled down from his face as he kept looking at that box. 

Alex gets confused, in shock he takes that box away from Liam’s hands. Alex pats Liam’s back gently to calm him down but he keeps on sobbing. Alex didn’t understand the cause of such a big reaction from Liam’s side. Many questions start to emerge in his mind but he avoids talking it out and focuses on calming Liam.

Alex takes Liam to his car. He says in a gentle tone “I don’t know what triggers a reaction like that. You look tired from all that crying earlier, let me drop you at your place.” 

“We will talk about this matter later, take a rest at home and don’t overthink it.” Alex looks at Liam who was silently sitting in the front seat of his car.

Liam was completely shattered by the incident and was in shock. Alex’s words bring him back to reality and he shakes his head as he speaks “Ok, professor.”

Alex takes Liam to his place. When they reach there Alex says “Liam take care. And if anything happens just give me a call or message me. Here is my number.” Alex hands over a slip to Liam.

Liam takes that paper from Alex’s hands and goes directly inside without even saying anything to Alex. Reaction like that from Liam makes Alex more eager to know, but he keeps curiosity aside and takes turns towards his own route. 

Alex parks his car in the front parking lot of the apartment building. He sees Liam's parcel in his own car and thinks oh, Liam must have forgotten it in my car. I will give it back later. For now, I should take a look inside, it can help in feeding a spark to my burning curiosity. 

Alex takes the parcel with him to his room. There was no address or clue of the sender. He then takes a look inside the box.

There were three photographs inside with a scissor and an Italian newspaper’s one year old newspaper’s cutting. Alex gets confused as he sees those things, he speaks in low tone to himself “I know you are running from your past but what have you done?”

Alex takes a look at photographs in which one photo was of a school which seems to be a prestigious elite school, as he shuffles another photo comes up of a classroom’s corner with a bench covered in blood and similar scissors beside it. The third photograph that comes up was of a boy. A boy who was smiling brightly in the photograph and looking at the camera intently.  

Alex puts photographs aside and grabs the newspaper cutting and takes his iPad. He then translates it. It was some news regarding an Italian elite school’s student suicide case. The details on the news were in pieces and not clearly directed towards case mystery. 

Alex searches for the case that happened two years ago but he didn’t get much related information. He then takes out his phone and calls someone

“Hello, I want some information regarding one case. Do you think you can give it to me without being noticed by my father?” Alex says in a heavy and serious tone.

The person on the other end speaks up “Yes sir I can give you.”

Alex tells his assistant all the details of the case and says “I want every little bit of information regarding the case till tomorrow. Mail me every detail once you get it. And don’t even think of saying anything to my father or be ready for my wrath. Get it.” 

The person on the other end speaks in a scared tone “Yes sir, I get it. I will provide every possible detail till tomorrow. Rest assured.”

Alex cuts the call. He looks at the boy’s photo once again. The shocked and scared expression of Liam came before his eyes as he was looking at the photographs. He thinks in his mind with a serious expression on his face that if you have made a mistake there is a chance to correct it. I promise you I will be the one helping you. But if you had done the irreversible sin then keep in mind, I will be the one you have to deal with from now on.

Alex murmurs in lower tone “Liam don’t be a sinner. I can’t keep my sympathy with bastards like us.” Alex crumbles the newspaper as he speaks those words. He takes his jacket in his hand and leaves.
