TW: Suicide, murder, drug use, swearing, depression, violence, existential themes, mental-health issues, attempted suicide
DAY TWO
We went back to the train today. Saw his body.
I almost threw up.
How could someone do that to another human?
His body was crumpled up and pale. Blood pooled around his body, I couldn’t look.
My mind felt disconnected from my body as I stared at the blood-stained gravel.
I kept thinking, maybe if he’d been next to me, maybe if the driver had just been able to finish, he could’ve lived, but there’s no point in hoping, wondering.
The grids are all offline.
All technological-related advancements no longer work.
Phones, laptops, shit, even batteries.
Nothing worked anymore.
There’s no longer hope.
Just survival.
