Crossfire: The Age of Quris 

Chapter 3: Star Rage- (|)

“Faris believes this is the best cake Faris has ever had.” Faris said while her chin was covered in icing, “Faris.” Rayan rubbed her temple, it’s only been a few minutes since Vonwing’s retirement, and Faris is already acting like this.

“Cheers for the ground hog seeing his shadow! Cheers, cheers, cheers, CHEERS!” Maren and Kira danced cheerfully— 

The sound of a sandal ricocheting off the walls could faintly be heard, before slamming into Maren’s face– 

“We're in a bakery! Be quiet!” Olgra dragged Maren to his seat, she took Kira’s hand gently guiding her to a seat– and she pinched her cheek “Ow! Big sis!” Kira rubbed her chubby cheek, her purple eyes full of betrayal— 

A hole was blown through the wall, a purple energy rippled through the room– then a very tall woman stepped through, her hair long and a soft blonde “Woah, is she gonna pay for that?” Maren’s mouth was a perfect ‘O’

“No you idiot!” Rayan spoke through a mouth full of cake

“T-that’s the evil monster in the 50th chapter of The Great Adventures of Captain Usopp!” Kira pointed a trembling finger

“What on earth are you talking about?” Olgra facepalmed, the woman turned towards them, a cloak of dense air surrounding her– and she vanished.

Appearing behind Faris, and kicking her in the side— an explosive force erupted from the kick, purple sparks flickering then slamming into the impact point.

“Faris!” Maren instantly dropped the gag, drawing a single pistol— as he fired the woman swatted the bullet out of the air, “You are so very weak. I expected more from Unahana’s son.” She spoke with a matter-of-fact tone, she balled up her fist— energy building up slowly, and then released in a burst of sparks and dense air. 

“Everyone, get down!” Rayan yelled, yanking Kira down— a violent shockwave flew over their heads, vaporizing the walls of the restaurant. “Oh my god! We’re all gonna die!” Kira wailed, squirming around “Calm down!” Rayan insisted, pulling a piece of candy from her pocket, “Here!” Kira grabbed the candy, instantly cheering up. “Of course that worked.” Maren mumbled, but his attitude didn’t last long— 

Faris spun around grabbing a mug, slamming it into the woman's chest– on impact Faris was blasted back, flying through a table. 

“Ow… Faris won’t let you hurt her friends.” Faris struggled to get up, her muscles screaming in protest

She groaned in effort but it was no use

“Since I'm going to kill you all, I’ll tell you my name. I am Voncera Decobra” Voncera pointed at herself with her thumb, “Cool!” Kira’s eyes turned to stars, “That is not cool, Kira!” Rayan whacked her on the head “Ah! Olgra! She hit me!” Kira scrambled to Olgra’s side.

“Kira-”

A blinding light formed in Voncera’s palm—

“Star Rage: Degonez” A beam of concentrated energy erupted from her, the air around it was so powerful that it destroyed everything in its path—

 “What the–” Olgra was cut off as Voncera immediately punched her in the face “You talk too much.” Olgra was sent flying— crashing through the wall, and rolling into a neighboring bar

“How does it work?” Olgra thought to herself, none of it made any sense. First it was sparks then dense air… just how does her blessing work—

“What’s wrong? Am I too fast for you?” Voncera mocked Rayan who was desperately trying to hit her.

Her fists kept striking empty air. Voncera’s too fast. “Don’t you mock me!” Rayan shouted, moving to sweep her feet— Voncera vanished in a blur of black and yellow, a brief displacement in the air that just felt.

Wrong. 

“Huh?” Before Rayan’s eyes had the chance to widen–

Voncera’s foot slammed into her back, the sound similar to a gunshot

“Agh!” 

The air was forced out of Rayan’s lungs, her legs buckling under the blunt trauma.

But not just that she was flung like a ragdoll, slamming into a flower pot

Causing it to shatter.

Maren finally found his pack of bullets, quickly loading his pistols “Faris, Rayan, Olgra! Are you guys alright?” He shouted, not noticing Kira was missing.

I’m seriously trying my best so if you do happen to enjoy my shenanigans then maybe leave a comment to tell me what I should be improving on, anyways I have a fact today did you know that cabbages actually helped stop a virus that killed over 2m sailors it was called scurvy it would make all your teeth and hair fall out you would legit go BALD, anyways the cabbages stopped it because of the vitamin C sorry for the long author note!

 (BTW serve scurvy caused your hair and teeth to fall out and sailors didn’t mainly use cabbages they used, limes, and other things with vitamin c)
