*Rip! Rip! Rip!* A person starts to hunch over.  Clothes start to rip.

The person grows and grows until their previous form no longer exists.

"Kyaa!" someone screams.

"Monster!" another shouts.

In another location, Lucas C Jets is looking at his phone. A notification pops up from his friend GT.

"Hey dude! Did you see this clip yet?" said the text.

Lucas looks at the clip.

It was a handheld shot of someone turning into a monster.

Isn't this CGI? Lucas thinks as the video ends.

Lucas: Isn't this fake...

GT: hey! I got this from a reliable source. What do you think?

Lucas: Creepy i guess where was this shot?

GT: downtown. But dude that's not the only thing scary. This is apparently happening all over town.

Lucas: Shouldn't this be all over the news by now?

GT: nah. something fishy going on. always seems like a cover up. anyways be careful when you go out there. GTG

Lucas puts down his phone. He ponders at the new information he just received from his friend. 

Monsters? Transformation? Cover up?

"Ouch! My head hurts." Lucas holds his head. "It hurts!"

Lucas grounds himself on the floor and curls up. A sudden realization erupts in his mind. It almost looks like how the monster in the video started to transform. Lucas starts to lose consciousness.

Chapter 2: Pawn (Black)

In another location, Sarah Adams is watching TV in her room when she hears her mother screaming from below.

Sarah rushes out and down the stairs to see what the commotion was about. As she approaches the dining room, Sarah sees her mother laying on the ground. Her father is nowhere to be seen. Sarah tries to call for help using her phone.

"Sis! What's going on?" a voice shouts from behind. "Mother?"

Sarah's little sister, Ruby, enters the dining hall and stops. Ruby appears to be shocked and frightened.

Sarah follows Ruby's gaze and lands on the monster in front of her.

The monster seems to be a mixture of a gorilla and a bear. It barely reaches the ceiling as it gasps for air. The monster appears to be in a daze when it notices Sarah and Ruby. The monster inches closer to the girls.

"Get away from us!" Sarah shouts at the creature.

Sarah locks onto the monster as she inches closer to Ruby.

Ruby holding onto the seams of Sarah's clothes stares deeply at the monster. She could't help but feel that the figure appears familiar.

"Dad?" Ruby mutters. "Is that you?"

"What do you mean?" Sarah questions Ruby.

Sarah looks up and she sees something shiny on the side of the monsters head. 

"That's-isn't that dad's glasses?" Sarah shouts out loud. "D-dad? What are you doing? MOM!"

The monster sweeps up Sarah and Ruby's mom and leaves through the window. Sarah and Ruby tries to catch up but by the time they reached the window her parent's figures was nowhere to be seen.

Sarah hugs Ruby as she digest what she happened to her parents. Her head starts to pound rapidly in her head. Sarah grasps her head. 

"Sis?" Ruby shouts at Sarah. "No! Sister! Please get up!"

Sarah loses consciousness.
