Field Day Chapter 60: Monk's crazy backstory
Sep 10, 2026
Hi everyone!
only just got done in time for this Thursday! There's quite a lot I want to talk about!
Recently i've been grinding offline trying to find quicker and better ways of making the comic and then. It happened, a character design i've vividly pictured for years finally came from out of my head and onto the page!
The very last panel is that character design. his name is Ryan Lister Riggs, he's the leader of the Mop head Mafia!
In my free time i've been expanding their lore so in the near future there shall be Mop Head Mafia character bios soon! Before I put my stuff online I had an idea for a faction that would be a parody of old belt scroller enemies similar to that of the Mad Gear Gang from Final Fight or just old school arcade enemies. The faction was originally going to be called The Abel Gang very early in development, but when the Mop Head Mafia got popular by accident I thought 'why not merge the two'? So.. That's what i've decided to do a long with create new lore for the Mop head Mafia as a faction specifically.
Hawk's also had a small design update, Flo's was visible the other week when she was battling the party troopers in the school corridor. I've been using the ruler and compass tools more so I can get straighter or rounder lines. I hope you all enjoy!
Stay safe everyone Let me know what you all think I love reading your comments and replying to them! <3
PATCH NOTE: Brightened up the word balloons and fixed a line of dialogue
