To Theodore's surprise, he quickly makes friends with members of an up and coming rock band called 'Hamster Crickets'. In that time, he becomes especially interested in one of the band mates but also learns that the band struggles with money and publicity. In Theodore's attempt to help the band financially, his other secret eventually comes out.
Now Theodore fears his new friends will reject him and that he might have to deal with the same problems he was going through at his old school.
