‼️ PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY ‼️

I am sure many of you have seen the news circulating about Tapas closing its doors and I feel we will be getting some very sad information in the near future. This is a change that will affect us all as readers, as well as my future as a creator. While I cannot say anything officially as I don't have any details, I want to stress that I would not be making an announcement like this lightly. I am sharing this because you are my wonderful, loyal readers and you deserve to feel reassured. 

So, I want to assure you all that, regardless of what happens to Tapas, I will continue to write, I will continue to post, and I will make my stories as accessible as they can be. 

Lev and I will continue creating series, I will continue my solo series (yes, even Human!) and you will be able to read them in the future. I assume we will all know more soon (such as when things are changing and what will happen to the series you read) as things unfold. More information will be shared when I receive it. 

Tapas has always been my home. For a decade I have been enjoying series as a reader, and posting them as a creator for 8. I’ve made so many friends and lasting relationships through this truly wonderful community, and I am so very grateful. To the Tapas staff that has worked tirelessly to support me and other creators, thank you with my whole heart. 

I started posting on Tapas because I loved the focus on indie creators and reading stories you simply couldn't find anywhere else. I remember thinking "I'll never get 25 subscribers," which was one of the first goals as a new creator. But I did! Over 8 years I was able to amass over 25.3k readers, 2 million views, 215.8k likes, and 33.6k comments. All thanks to readers like you!

To think of all that work and all those memories disappearing is so heartbreaking, I can’t find the words. It’s not just about numbers. It’s about every person behind those stats. ALL OF YOU! Every time you liked I got a boost of confidence and reading your comments was always the best part of my day. Every read means something to me and always will. 

We’ve built such a beautiful community together and I still have stories left to complete and share!
