Hermes Psychopompos
Oct 06, 2026
A psychopomp was someone who guided the souls of the dead to the underworld. It was one of Hermes' roles.
ALSO ALSO. I have been notified that Tapas is closing down!! Which is very sad!!! If you wish to continue reading Flowers for the Messenger God and supporting this mad artist, you may do so on WEBTOON at
https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/flowers-for-the-messenger-god/list?title_no=1114593
(That's where most of the readers live anyway :))
Until Tapas ends though, I will continue to update the webcomic here <3

Hermes is a Messenger God, of many things — swiftness, merchants, travellers, thieves, cunning, athletes.
Flitting between Zeus and Hades, he definitely doesn't have time for much else.
Like romance — and commitment.
Crocus is an artist, of many trades — pottery, sculpting, floristry, painting, embroidery, weaving.
He's fled from his past. He doesn't want to look back.
And he definitely doesn't need anything new and chaotic in his life.
