— Do better — Henrique said.

While they were talking, the man sitting on the right side, behind the driver's seat, draws their attention to a freezer that none of the three had noticed.

— Do you want something to drink? The trip will take 3 hours.

— We're good, chief. Would you like something? — Leonardo said.

— I'm good — Eleanor replied.

— Got any soda? — Henrique asked.

— Yes — Leonardo replied.

— Toss it to me, please... Thank you — Henrique said.

Hektor then turns on his phone's camera and looks at himself in selfie mode, causing Eleanor to watch closely, holding back a laugh.

— Do I look good or not, bro? — Hektor said.

— I don't know if I can comment — Henrique said.

— I'm totally into your mustache — Eleanor said.

— Stop talking trash about my mustache! I know what you thought — Hektor said.

— Besides your power, can you read minds? — Henrique said.

— Yes, except look here... — Hektor said.

— "Women fall head over heels when they see my mustache" — Eleanor said while holding back a laugh, adding: — Women fall head over heels all right, from laughing so hard!

— Show some respect, Eleanor — Hektor said.

After more than three hours had passed, they finally arrived at a hidden kingdom. The trees were blue, full of purple flowers, and the sky had yellow clouds. It was a strange yet beautiful sight. As soon as they got out, Henrique and Eleanor stood by Hektor's side as everyone followed Leonardo to a huge castle.

He could give a bit more information about the case, huh? — Hektor thought.

— I get it, you guys are just going like this because of protocol — Henrique said.

— Let's go to the garden, where I can give more information about the case reported by me — Leonardo said.

As they walked through the garden, the trio noticed the presence of someone wearing a crown. It was the princess who, as soon as she realized she had been seen, vanished from everyone's sight. Reaching a corner of the garden, they sat down, while Eleanor and Henrique stood behind Hektor, both leaning against the detective's chair.

— You guys can sit down too — Hektor said.

— Relax, we're good — Henrique said.

— Now I can better explain what happened. I know it's not an exact crime case, but we have a gut feeling and a suspicion... It's that this could... How can I put it? — Leonardo said, looking around.

— You want to prevent something from happening — Hektor said.

— Exactly... Valuable items are disappearing from the princess's room, and a knife has gone missing from the kitchen — Leonardo said.

— What if the cooks didn't take them? — Hektor said.

— That's the thing, they don't mess with the cameras and didn't even know where the central station was. The person removed some cameras and, among other things, blocked some of their range. The exact people who know about the cameras' existence are the security guard, the king, the queen, and two other people — Leonardo said.

— Take us to the kitchen — Hektor said.

— What were the valuable items? — Hektor asked.

— Items of sentimental value — Leonardo replied.

— I thought they were items of financial value — Hektor said.

— I thought the same until she told me — Leonardo said.

"At the same time I think only an object went missing... If he's saying this and people are whispering, there's possibly a suspicion of someone wanting to murder someone else" — Hektor thought.

As they walked through the place lit by a small beam of fluorescent light, they spotted the princess in a white dress and without her crown, casting a curious look at the visitors. Upon seeing her, everyone gave a small nod as a sign of respect and moved toward the kitchen.

While Henrique was thinking this, Eleanor watched him as if she already knew what he was thinking. Then, Leonardo points to a drawer.

— Is it this one, right? I still have my doubts, but let's do it — Hektor said.

— I'll step out, I'll be right behind the door — Leonardo said.

— Sounds good — Henrique said.

Leonardo leaves and closes the kitchen door, waiting outside.

As he places his hand over the drawer, a light emanates from his hand; a circle surrounds Hektor and then a watch symbol appears on his wrist in the form of an aura with a blue and green glow.

— That blue and green mixed glow is so awesome — Eleanor said.

"Temporal anticipation," — Hektor thought.

As he thought about going back in time, the watch hand on his wrist began to spin backward. In moments, Hektor felt like he was leaving his own body. When he realized it, he saw his body as a line drawn in the color of his watch, while several windows began to appear all around, showing the timeline of what happened and what could happen.

I still wonder why... It's strange to walk through a timeline, it's like I see multiple continuous windows of things that happened or that could happen. Choosing the true one requires attention and focus to not screw up, so I always latch onto an object, or a person... In this case, I'll have to go about it this way — Hektor thought.

The princess was the one who took the knife... I'm still thinking about his suspicion that someone made off with the knife. From what I've seen, all the points don't have anything sharp or that could cause serious injury from the kingdom up to here — Hektor thought.

Then, watching across more than one window, he saw the princess taking the knife and bringing it to her room.

I get it, but why did the princess take the knife? Sometimes it's just to cut an apple, why is the first thought that this would be bad for her? But if she's the one who took it, could she be protecting herself from someone? So many questions — Hektor thought.

Having a basis, Hektor returns to his body and then goes back to his current time through the watch hands, and as soon as he returned, the watch vanished again.

— Alright — Hektor spoke.

— First time you're chill — Eleanor observed.

— I didn't witness anything bad, but there's still a mystery... The princess took it. Don't tell that guy yet — Hektor whispered.

Then Henrique and Eleanor nod positively, and successively after hearing what Hektor had seen, both look thoughtful and then next open the door.

— Well, buddy, I'll need to do an analysis with the things I saw, it might take a while — Hektor spoke.

— Ah... That's fine, take your time — Leonardo responded.

Chill guy... — Henrique thought.

Then before he could say they needed to head back home to do the analysis, Leonardo interrupts him, proposing an idea:

— If you don't mind, can you sleep here? — Leonardo asked.

— What? — Hektor spoke.

— Just in case something happens and you're already here — Leonardo justified.

This guy is asking way too much for us to stay, but I don't know... Could it be a trap? Should I use future jump to see if he's planning something bad? — Hektor thought.

— We'll go, but is there any snack for us? — Henrique asked.

— The rooms have snacks stored, and we also have a freezer with various drinks, juices, water — Leonardo offered.

A few hours after the event, everyone is in a fancy room, featuring 3 huge beds and an integrated bathroom. Hektor is lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling.

— You're just lazy, see — Henrique spoke.

— I even thought about refusing, but then I figured this guy would put us in the dungeon... In that tower — Hektor spoke.

— I don't think it would be like that — Eleanor said.

— I liked this room, I feel like I'm in a movie, and the beds are very comfortable — Hektor praised.

— What bed isn't comfortable? — Henrique spoke.

— I don't know if I can sleep with this much trust... — Hektor spoke.

— The guy needs us, nothing's gonna happen... I'm gonna try out this bed — Henrique said.

Eleanor then covers Henrique. Immediately afterward, she goes to the middle bed, sits on the edge, and watches Hektor.

Here the night looks like day. So it was a murder plan, against me or against her? What does this mean? — Hektor thought.

— Your mind is far away — Eleanor spoke.

— I'm still thinking if all this isn't just Leonardo's paranoia or... — Hektor spoke.

— Maybe you're looking at the logic too much, how about observing the simple? — Eleanor advised.

— What would the simple be? She just took the knife — Hektor spoke.

Then while he thought, Eleanor got ready to sleep.
