Yes, your eyes are working fine. I'm not in this, but one of my tabletop characters is. Her name is Josephina, but all of the other characters normally call her Joanna. I'm sure that pose is wrong, the anatomy is off, and the hands just plain stink, but I'm happy that it turned out better than I was fearing.

Normally it takes me about 20 to 30 minutes to draw my rotund, cartoony self, less if I'm just staring at a blank canvas for a good ten minutes wondering what to do. This took me about an hour.

Also, on another note. you guys should all see why I don't hand letter anything. That's my neat handwriting.

This is the story of a man who is looking to be better at something he has been doing most of his life. To reach for peaks that have not yet been crested! To delve into the dark places to find sights not yet been seen!

Actually, this is just a story. My story. I'm hoping that by starting this, I'll have people who will push me to get off my lazy butt and do what I need to do to get better at drawing.

Hopefully you won't find my sense of humor too strange. :)
