I've been seeing a lot of "Me with my pokemon" style posts, and I decided to give it a try. Chandelure is one of my favorite pokemon, but it does do that whole consume your spirit thing. It's still a cute pokemon, though!
And in celebration of Pokemon's 20th anniversary (Yay! Go sun and moon!), I decided to kick up the art a notch. I usually hate doing backgrounds, mostly because I don't want to distract from the foreground and because I have no idea how to make nice scenic backgrounds. I'll see artists pull out nice mountain ranges and forests, and I'm sitting here going, "Yes, maybe I'll add some more squiggles here"
