One of my best friends at work was an author. I enjoyed working with her. She made an otherwise intolerable job actually enjoyable. this was the first bit of art that she claimed. She has several of mine, and whenever she sees some of my artwork, she always says "Mine!"
I still have far more of my own artwork than she does.
Also: this is the first time I tried doing something even resembling a background. It... didn't work out as well as I wanted. Oh well. live and learn, I suppose.
