Usually when I go to parties I just sit in the corner and draw in my sketchbook ahaha.

I really like your strategy. I never thought to remove myself (even if temporarily) when I'm at a loud bar with friends or a party where the social engine in my brain has finally ran out of gas.
Now since I can't draw, I should resort to writing haiku or something. Makes being my usual wallflower at least productive.
