Also can I add that Tula is hurt because Lyra did not tell her that he is a boy, not that he is a boy dressing in girl's clothes. She feels hurt because she thought that they were closer than that and everyone else seems to know so she feels out of the loop. Lyra identifies as a boy but likes wearing girl clothes because he thinks they look much cuter on him, if that makes sense.
