A game of predator and prey, life or death, an endless conspiracy entangling all those thrust into it. Two secret societies, the Vigilantes, the Sentinels, and their feline agents constantly hunting and on the hunt for each-other. Nickleby, a housecat and an agent for the Vigilantes, is forced to distinguish enemy from ally, and the innocent from the enemies. Never able to truly know who on his side and who isn't, he's on a blind hunt, and only able to depend on careful thought, precise action, and knowledge of his opponents if he is to stay alive.
