How to be a Doctor

Don't worry, this comic is an exaggeration...or is it? Fortunately, this was not the case for me.
However, it's no secret that becoming a doctor is much more highly valued among Asian families (especially Koreans) than it is among other cultures in general. Depending on your background, this type of expectation is received either willingly or begrudgingly. For many 3rd or 4th generation Asian Americans, the pressure definitely causes problems. Just ask any of your Americanized Asian friends. Go ahead. Ask literally ANY of them. If you dig deep enough, there's a 99.9% probability that you'll find some messed up, psychological sh*t.
