A lot of Smith and Jones' behaviour is directly inspired by what my own two cats get up to. Bella, my little girl cat, is a great paper shredder. I've seen the damage she can do to a single issue of the Sunday Times - she can fill a room with crumpled paper that way. Who knows what she could do if she got hold of a Sunday edition of the New York Times or Dallas News...
