Why.
Hatoful Boyfriend is a pigeon dating sim. You really don’t need any more description than that. All I learned from this adventure is that I have strange friends.
--Verdict--
Art: Have you seen dating sims before? No? You’re not missing much. This time it’s with photos of pigeons.
Gameplay: If you enjoy clicking through dialogue boxes, you’re in for a treat. I was entertained with trying to follow the plot for probably the first ten minutes and then became exasperated with the sheer amount of text.
Replayability: Extraordinarily low. If I never have to see this game again it will still be too many times I’ve seen this game.
Would I recommend? Nope. No way. Nuh uh. Negatory. Never. Nix. This game, albeit a strange premise, left me wondering about all of the better things I could have done with my life.
