Soooo my first day of college was recently.
I have no idea if this is how your guys first days of college went, but mine was certainly...eventful.

I thought my new roommate was much older (he's 5 months younger), that everyone else in my dorm was an idiot (wasn't true - lots of them were awesome, even if still weird, occasionally acerbic guys), and that I would have to remain indoors forever. I was a ball of nervous energy and ready to make friends, and I did just that. My room was still my sanctuary and it is that way now. Living on-campus meant I didn't need to take a bus home either (my backback was still heavy - I bought all the textbooks).
