Clear the Shelter Weekend

Originally published on August 14th of 2015 to bring awareness to National Clear the Shelter Day!
This event was an expansion of a program that started in northern Texas, USA in 2014 in which 38 different shelters coordinated efforts and saw more than 2,000 animals adopted in a SINGLE DAY!
Check out this article to find out more and then head to your local animal shelter! Even if you cant bring home a new family member you can always donate so that some puppy or kitty somewhere has the chance to find their forever home!
