So... Page 18 already and of course, if you've realized, there's little story in it.
Lets talk about that. I tried flipping through the pages, it's all mostly actions. And actions. With little focus on story plot. Well, after Blight, I thought... why don't I do a comic that focus on the action scenes? Blight's fight scenes are short. But they are focused, and there's a lot of building up to make each of the fights something to worth fighting for. A lot of things that didn't contribute to story, mostly fight scenes or random chit chat are cut off. So, the Blight story is moving on a fast pace, as if there's no time to take a break. One page they are here, nex page they are somewhere else.
Sunken Haven, hoho. Going back the pages, I feel like there are scenes that can be cut. And, I am spending a lot of time and energy on pages that didn't contributes much to the story. It IS afterall, intended because the world is new, and lot more need to be put into oven. BUT, I realize I stuck on a same place too long. Which reminds me of a conclusion I've drawn after scouring through comics. While the action scenes [if done right] makes the comic fun to read, they are very empty, and left nothing to remember of. And makes it dull afterward.
After going through the comic, part of me said "let's pick up the pace". And So shall we.
I think the long entrance sequence shows both the desperation and scale that this series can bring to light. Though, I would be a little more careful because I have seen a few stories lose what made them interesting due to a massive entrance that went nowhere for a FAR longer time.
