I opened my eyes to the sight of mud, for I was laying face-down in it. I pushed myself up, my arms sore, and sat down in it. It was raining. I shook my head back and forth, trying to rid my hair of the water that had soaked it. My sweater ( which was almost 6 sizes to large, mind you ) was ripped and brown with mud and rain. I sighed and stretched my arms. Where was I? I didn't know until I looked to my right. Sitting there was a dear enemy of mine, Adelaide. Normally, she was the most beautiful person you'd ever seen, but today, with her smudged lipstick and wet hair, she looked like a complete mess. I stood up and kicked her. "Mornin' Bitch." I said.
She opened her eyes and sat up. She looked around. "Oh my god." She looked at me. "Oh my GOD." She looked at herself in a puddle. "OH MY GOD."
I rolled my eyes. "Jesus Christ, stop saying that. It's like... What, super annoying?" I said, putting my hands on my hips. She stared at me for a minute, not understanding nor comprehending what was happening.
"Where are we? What happened?" She finally asked after what seemed like at least thirty minutes, putting a hand on the ground and pushing herself up.
"Don't you remember?" She shook her head. I sighed again. "Well, here's a rundown of what happened. Me and you got drunk, had a fight, took it outside, and almost killed each other." I paused for a moment, letting that sink in. "Also you hit on, like, a ton of dudes."
She gasped. "Rowan's gonna be so mad!" She said, glaring at me and taking a step back. (Rowan was her girlfriend. Rowan was also missing an eye and had killed a giant monster that was about to destroy the universe. And she had a horrible fashion sense. I really don't understand the whole dating thing. Especially with someone so ugly.)
"What Rowan doesn't know gets me paid." I winked at her and held my hand out. She just stood there. "Oh, my god. give me money and I won't tell!"
She growled but scrambled for her wallet and pulled out a few crumpled bills. Counting them, there was three twenties and a ten. I smiled. "Alright, friend. That's enough for me." I winked at her again. Stuffing the bills in my pocket, I bowed to her. "I bid thee fair well. Have a wonderful day." I turned on one foot and started to walk away before Adelaide grabbed my tail from behind. I stopped in my tracks, being pulled back by her. "Ow!" I said.
"Do you promise that you won't tell Rowan?" She whispered. I smirked and looked to the side. Even if I did tell Rowan, she would ignore me or tell me I'm lying. I lie a lot.
I turned to face her, and she let go of my tail. I grabbed her shoulder and squeezed it so she would get her own taste of pain. Her face scrunched up a bit. I smiled. "Cross my heart."
Then I turned and walked away, leaving Adelaide to cry in the rain.
