I was standing by the doorway putting on my jacket to go outside to see Aaron when my parents called me. I groaned and mumbled a few curses as I went into the living room to see what they want. My father was on the couch drinking coffee while my mother was standing by the fireplace. "What is it?"
My so-called mother who happens to be a supermodel glared at me. "Is that how you talk to your mother young lady?"
"What do you want?" her glare intensified and so did my father's. He placed his mug unto the coffee table and stood up. "Ari you'll be turning sixteen soon and you haven't found your mate yet so we decided to find you a husband." I narrowed my eyes at them, "and who is that fabulous future husband you found?"
"Its Blaze Johnson," my eyes widen, "W...What?"
"It was his idea too. I think he might be your mate and a good husband,"
"I'm not marrying him," they both laughed, "yes you are honey whether you like it or not."
"But.."
"No buts you're getting married in June whether you like it or not," thats two months away. I glared at them before running outside to find Aaron.
I found him under a tree petting a wolf and I ran straight into his arms crying. I didn't care if he was covered in dirt and I was wearing white. I just wanted him to hold me. I felt him taking in my scent and playing with my hair, "Blake again?" I shook my head and he sighed. "Okay what did your parents do this time? I swear, everytime I see you, you're crying."
He lifted me up bridal style before he stared walking. "See ya later June," the wolf he was petting let out a playful yip then ran off. "Okay start talking what happened," when I looked around I realized we were already at his house which was an log cabin which I knew he built himself. We went inside and he placed me on a couch which he also made. In fact, he made everything in his home except a few metal items but he was still the one who installed them.
I told him what my parents said earlier and he narrowed his eyes on me. "Aaron did you hear what I said I'm going to marry Blake I'll probably never get to see you again,"
"I heard what you said but seriously what would Ginger think?" I gasped, "you promised him you'll get stronger right? How many times do I have to tell you to stop being so submissive. You're like a human doormat." I felt the tears forming at the corner of my eyes, "don't you dare cry again Ari."
He reached forward and hugged me while burying his nose in my neck and inhaling in my scent. I heard him let out a low moan. "For some strange reason you smell wonderful today...its almost like" Aaron quickly moved away from me and started cursing. "Aaron what wrong?" he forced himself to smile while looking at me. "Its nothing really. Just stay here for a few minutes I need to go for a run to clear my head." I was about to say something but he was already out the door.
