The bell rang as Nik walked with his friends to lunch when they got to the cafe he stopped. "Hey guys I'm not very hungry, just remembered I got this math homework that needs to get done.

“Huh? But your good at math”, said Devon.

Nik rolled his eyes. “Got lazy and my favorite show was on”.

"Well. See ya" said Jet.

He waved. "Later.” Nik raced back to the classroom, the room was dark and the door was locked, he got his pocket knife and fiddled with the lock until it clicked open. He went to Ms. Sphinx desk opening each draw, then he checked the ones that were locked, the 3rd draw revealing a dagger but it was covered in blood, dry blood.

Nik leaned against the wall. "What should I do?.  Should I tell a teacher, no, the principal, yeah that's what I'll do.  Wait, wait, it was October last month and we had a Halloween party at the school, so maybe I'm just overreacting". He heard the nob turn as he ran behind his desk, there was loud footsteps and talking.

A raspy male voice spoke. "Are you sure it’s here?"

He held up a device. "Positive, this was where it was last located".  Nik peeked out from behind his desk, the men were dressed in black and had Dragon shaped tattoos.

The man whispered. "If we find the dagger we find her."

Nik scooted back into his hiding place but hit it too hard as his pen fell off the desk with a thud, he was frozen and it was quiet. Suddenly, his desk flew through the air crashing to pieces as the man picked up the dagger.

Nik tried to sound confident seeing them up close "Well, you got what you want.” Their outfits were dark like ninja clothes, they had bandages and red dragon tattoos, the tall one had chocolate skin, black spiky hair and gold eyes the short one had pale skin, blue eyes and was wearing a dark helmet.

The tall man held the dagger. "Yes. But, now that you saw us, you're dead".
