Inside John Leaf's house

John and Nick took off their coats and hung them on the coat-stander, John hugged nick leading him to the bedroom with a warm smile

9 AM

John woke up ealier then nick and went downstairs making breakfast for them, AFTER breakfast john told nick he had to go to work real quick which got Nick thinking. 'why does john have to go to work? Its saturday AND his day off' While pondering this thought nick got a phone call from Mary.

The Call

"Nick, Where are you?!" Mary Demanded to know

"I went for my morning walk" Nick lied staying calm

"Oh, right I forgot you always do your morning walks on your off days, Will you be home soon?" she asked sweetly

"No,I will be hme in a few, okay?" Nick replied and got up softly

"okay~" Mary chimed

on the way home

nick hung up the call and went to dress, he recalled how he was forced to marry Mary, He remembered how his father refused to let him love John. He walked outside the house walking back home while remembering that his father told him on his 16th birthday, "You wont marry that Rat! I arranged for you to marry a beautiful woman called Mary. So don't think you will see that rat ever again! i will not let you dishonor our family!"

Nick hated that his father chose who he would marry and love in life, but nick wasn't able to stand up for himself, in the end he had to marry Mary.
