the detective's POV

I was in my home office looking for something to do, It was almost 4 am, I needed some coffee! A cup will set this morning right, It's to early for me to be up and at work but my little daughter starter yelling at 3 am, Best i find something to keep myself busy.

10 am

I got a call from police station, They said it's best that i come down to the Station because something is wrong. When i arrived at 10 am I helped them sort out their problem, During that time i heard that there was a murder at an apartment, so i went along with the officers to go have a look.

Upon arrival, there was a young man smiling sadly and when i saw his face i recognized it was Nick, a Young innocent man who's father had been doing some bad things. Well, I asked nick some questions and he just said he wasn't even in the area, because he was at a friends house, but then said this friend of his was his lover, i wasn't really surprised by the news.

He then mentioned that his lover had to go to work although it was his off, that was so far the weirdest thing anyone had said to me so far. Suddenly another young man rushed into the apartment, nick went to go hug him and sadly said "Hello, honey"

So i asked the gentleman who he was, to my surprise he said his name was John and told me he was Nicks lover. "was nick this morning with you?" I asked and john nodded "Yes, he was with me since 2 am this morning", So nick did not lie.
