Mephiles' POV

I looked to my left to see Silvers eyes wide and ears down with a light pink blush across his muzzle. I look back at Blaze to see her smirking like a madman. She then jumped towards Silver.

"Come here Silver!!" she yelled.

Silver quickly got up and ran off like his life depended on it. Blaze moved to get Silvers legs but ended up landing on me instead. She quickly got off me and took after Silver. I laid there on the floor with wide eyes. My mind was trying to cope with what just happened in the past ten seconds of the moment.

Blaze was dared to kiss Silver. Silver ran for his life. Blaze went insane and is chasing Silver. Does that even make sense? Enough for me I guess...?

Narrators POV

Mephiles sat up and looked at everyone else. They were just as surprised as him. They suddenly hear a crash and look to the doorway. Only to see a white streak go from left to right with a purple streak following behind.

"I don't think it was a good idea for that dare?" Knuckles asked as he stared at the doorway.

"Ya think?" Scourge replied.

The group sat in the living room as they listened to the thumping of feet above them with a crash or two. A slam of a door was heard before banging and yells from Blaze.

"Come on Silver! It's just one kiss!"

"No!"

"You can't stay in there forever!"

"Watch me! I ain't coming out for the life of me!"

Then it was quiet. It was that eerie silence that you knew something happened and something else was going to happen. But wh-

"AHHHHHHH!!!!" came a scream.

It went quiet again.... The group sat in silence as they waited for something to happen. Blaze came down the stairs with a triumphant smile plastered on her face. Everyone just stared at her as she sat down in her spot in the circle.

"Well?" asked Shadow.

"Well what?" Blaze asked.

"Silver," replied Amy.

"Oh. He's just upstairs crying in the corner of the spare bedroom," she replied with a smile still on her face.

"Okayy thenn.... Why doesn't someone go up to him?" said Rouge.

Mephiles snapped back to reality and said, "I'll go check on him." He then stood and walked towards the stairs.

Silvers POV

I can't believe she did that to me! I don't care if she has a crush on me or anything! There's only ONE being that I love and will forever love!!

I began to sulk in the corner of the room. I could still feel her lip gloss on my lips and taste the cherry flavor. I brought my legs to my chest and put my arms around my legs while my head resting on my knees. This is probably one of the bad days. I've had worse than this. Much worse...

The door creaked and someone walked in. I just stayed in my position not moving an inch. I felt a hand on the back of my neck that began to slowly move downward in a petting motion. The touch instantly calmed me. I know who this is...

"You alright?" came a husky voice.

"I'll be fine Meph," I replied. I just wanted to jump up and hug him so badly!

"You sure?" he asked a bit teasingly.

I chuckled with a small smile and said, "I'm pretty sure I'll live."

"You sure?" he asked again.

God I love this 'hog. Love....

My smile fades into a frown as my father flashed through my head. It's all his fault... If he wasn't so stubborn and full of pride we wouldn't be stuck in this situation! Hell, if he just took that fact that it wasn't-

"You alright Silver? Your growling," came Mephiles' voice breaking my thoughts.

I snapped my head up and gave as best a reassuring smile I could. "Fine. Just thinking."

"About Blaze? Or...?

"It's nothing Mephiles. You don't need to worry," I said reassuringly.

"Whatever you say then..."

I know he wasn't completely convinced but he shouldn't know about before. No, he can't know...

Mephiles then reached his hand forward and rubbed his finger over my lips. My eyes went wide of surprise and I felt my face heat up. No doubt I'm blushing. He was looking at my lips as he continued. He seemed so intent... Once he pulled his hand from my mouth and looked at me he chuckled from my expression.

"Blazes lipstick was still on you. I was getting it off," he said.

"Oh.... Thanks..." I looked down and rubbed the back of my neck.

Mephiles' hand rose from vision and I could feel him about to pet my neck again when he just stopped. Curious on why, I looked up to see his face blank and eyes distant while the rest of him was just frozen. I moved my head completely up and felt Meph's hand brush my neck. I grabbed his hand and called to him.

"Meph? You okay?"

There was no reply. I pushed his chest to see if could come out his daze but he sat there like a statue. I became worried. What he was...? No, that's not possible. She made sure of that....

"Mephiles?" I tried again.

His head snapped and he looked at me a bit freaked out. Now I was beyond worried. He fell backwards onto his butt and continued to stare. I crawled forward and put my hand to his chest. His heart was beating extremely quick. Was he alright? What happened?

"Meph?" I asked once more in a near whisper.

Mephiles then looked to the side, at the ground. "I'm fine..." he said.

I know he's lying. Something was most definitely wrong. But I can ask questions later. I put on a fake relieved smile and did a fake sigh of relief.

"Good. I thought something got knocked around in the head of yours," I said poking my finger to his forehead.

He gave a half hearted chuckle and began to speak.

"You two alright up there?!" came Shadows voice.

"We're fine!" I yelled back.

I stood up and stretched my hand out for Mephiles to take. He did and I pulled him up. We then walked back down into our spots in the circle. I could sense that Blaze was overjoyed about the kiss. Dear lord help me with this insane she-cat... Now I know how Sonic feels with Amy... Blaze spun the bottle and it landed on me. You have to be kidding!!!

"Truth or Dare?" she asked with a smirk on her face.

I didn't know what to choose. If I chose dare, she could dare me to kiss her. If I chose truth, she could ask something either embarrassing or revealing. Let's hope for the best...

"Truth" I said.

"Why'd you run from me?" she asked.

"Because it was my first kiss," I said. It wasn't first kiss actually. But if I said that then the others would get curious.

Sonic's phone suddenly went off. He pulled it out of his pocket. He apparently got a text as I saw his eyes go from side to side. "Sorry guys but Tails needs me for something," he said.

"It's all right Blue. Just go," Rouge said.

Sonic smile and got up from the floor and left the house. I reached to the bottle and spun it. It landed on Shadow. "Truth or Dare?" I asked.

He thought for a second before answering. "Dare"

"Uh... Okay then... Let's see.... What can I dare you..." I said.

Shadow's POV

Why did I say that?! I should have chosen truth! Dear god help me. It's bad when Silvers gets thinking cause then he'll have all these ideas and chose the worst one! Once he got knuckles to skinny dip in a public pool at after hours! That was just ONE of the things he dared! There are much more where it came from. And now I'm going to be scared for the rest of my life...

I watched Silver as he thought. His mouth opened and I saw his tongue start to slowly move from side to side. He then bit his lip as he continued to stare at the ground while thinking. I'm sooo doomed...

I then saw a glint in his eyes and he smirked. He then sat up straight and looked at me. Here it comes...

"I dare you to-"

Hello my readers! I just wanted to give a shout out to my friend for helping me with this chapter! She's the one who gave me the idea for the little Blaze gets to kiss Silver part and Mephiles coming to the rescue the poor hedgie... I almost feel bad for him. But it's funny.

Speaking of Mephiles going to help Silver, what do you think happened to him when he all of a sudden froze? What about when he froze after hearing Silver scream? I'm curious to see what you guys think...😊
