Then, during the night, he and his crew celebrated, and after that they camped there on the icy beach of that new land.
During the morning, Nick called all his crew and spoke loudly, as if it were a King giving testimony to their villages.
He said:
"When I come back, I'll play this horn. If you do not hear the sound of it in 3 months, that means I've died."
A silence rang the beach
One of his followers began clapping, and in the midst of it, he began to support Nick.
Then, as in a choir, the whole crew did the same.
Nick seemed important now.
After all, a hero is eternal.
Then Nick opened the tower door, and went upstairs.
At the top of the tower, he placed some supports and some necessary ingredients to open the portal to where Nick imagined to have answers of everything that he investigated.
Then all that was missing was the pulling of the last mechanism, so that the whole theory involving very strange things would surface.
So he did.
A thunderous sound that whipped Nick's ears, making him fall backward.
MY GOD, THAT HAPPENED.
A light came through the supports.
That was the portal.
Nick set up a backpack, carrying five kunals, a small ax, and a book.
REMEMBER THE BOOK.
The book was the material where Nick had his research.
Nick could now catalog all the dragons he had believed to be on the other side of the portal.
OK, LET'S GO BACK TO THE MAIN HISTORY, BECAUSE IT'S WHAT IT MATTERS NOW.
At last, Nick created courage, and entered the portal.
Everything he thought had not been in vain.
