A few days later Adeyemi, dressed in a pair of dark gray joggers that hung low on her hips allowing the top band of her lady boxers to be read and a cropped top to match, walked out of the government studies building. She was making her way down the sidewalk when she felt something drop from her pocket. When she turned around to see what it was and pick it up she was met with a handsome and familiar face. Crown Prince Rafael Burgundy of Portugal looked at her with a small smile as he handed her, her keys.
"Oh, Rafael. How kind of you." She was surprised he had approached her but thankful he handed her the keys.
Right before he could reply a sweet feminine voice called out "Hi." excitedly.
Adeyemi looked toward the sound of the voice and found the girl, Anja, from the dance room a while back looking at her eagerly. Anja walked closer to her.
"Hello Anja, as fate would have it, we meet again." She said
Anja nodded enthusiastically, "Which means I get a name."
Adeyemi nodded "This is true." She said stepping closer to the girl.
"I am Adeyemi Afolayan, the second princess of the Yoruba Kingdom." She said stretching out a hand, not leaving the girls gaze.
Anja quickly took the girl's hand into her own.
"Will you be my friend?" She asked "Teach me your ways?"
Adeyemi raised an amused brow. Rafael separated the girls hands not liking the look in Adeyemis' eye.
"Anja trust me, you don't want to know the ways of this one over here." He snorted.
Adeyemi glared and Anja looked at him surprised.
"I remember you being very pleased with my ways, on numerous occasions. Rafael" Adeyemi retorted
"Was I?" He feigned ignorance.
"Should I remind you?" She purred
Rafael gulped hard "Forgive me, I remember now. I have poor memory." he chuckled.
Adeyemi smirked " So it seems." She said before looking at the girl before her.
Anja looked between them a look of confusion on her face. Adeyemi quickly noted it and swiftly placed her hand back in Anjas.
"Come Anja," Adeyemi said sweetly, Anja felt like she'd do whatever the other girl told her to do. "We will have lunch together."
Adeyemi continued walking with Anja by her side.
"Okay." Anja said her voice bubbly "Keep up Rafael." She called but didn't turn to look at him instead her eyes were locked on the girl beside her.
Adeyemi looked over her shoulder and sent Rafael a wink as she placed her arm over Anjas shoulder while they walked. Rafael followed behind them slightly confused, he knew Adeyemi had no type but did she really just steal his crush?
They got to the dining hall with no issues other than Adeyemi feeling Rafael glaring a hole into the back of her head. It annoyed her so she had Anja walk faster so Rafael actually trailed behind them.
"Were you one of the many girls Rafael caused trouble with?" Anja asked as they sat down in the cafeteria.
Adeyemi chuckled "Do you want to be one of the girls Rafael causes trouble with?"
Anja shook her head " But I do like him, he said he could change."
"I wish I could say believe him. However I'm not sure. He's not a bad man just- he's just a little troubled." Adeyemi replied softly.
Rafael joined them at the table glaring at Adeyemi who paid him no mind. Throughout the entire meal she did little things like brush her land against Anjas, "accidentally" rub her leg and she kept giving Anja these looks. What made it worse was that Anja was responding, just blushing and sputtering about. And that grin! Anja looked too damn happy. Rafael wanted to sit there with his arms crossed about pout.
"On days when you are free and at the studio, let me know, I will come and show you how I move." Adeyemi said as they stood outside the dining hall exit.
"Yes, I'll call you." Anja said
Adeyemi pulled the girl into a tight hug. And let her middle finger trail down her spine. She gave Rafael a mischievous smirk as Anja shivered in her arms.
"You can call me whenever." Adeyemi said sweetly before pulling away. She kissed Anjas cheek lightly but made a loud kissing sound.
"Muah."
Anja's eyes lit up, Rafael swore he saw hearts in them, then her face turned red.
"I will speak to you soon, yes?" Adeyemi said "Bye Anja, bye Rafael." The African princess smiled at them both before turning and walking away.
Adeyemi chuckled softly, still finding Anjas face throughout lunch humorous. She made it back to her apartment, took off her shoes and crawled into her bed. She had enough human interaction for the day, she planned on taking a long nap and then studying for her classes.
It had been fun messing around with her God -brother earlier today. The look on his face was marvelous. Anja was such a cutie pie too, she was so innocent. She wished her god brother the best. Her mind drifted to the conversation she had with Jaejeong. The way he had described making love, it touched her. It didn't turn her on, it wasn't seductive but she felt it in her heart what was left anyways. She wanted to be able to make love with someone. She wanted it to be soul satisfying. However she had already made her bed and she had been laying in it for years. She was sure the sheets and blankets were so tangled she'd never be able to get out. But that was okay, she was okay with that. With a sigh Adeyemi was even more determined to sink into that nap. She pulled her covers over her head and tried to make peace with the emptiness that had settled in her bones.
The following morning, Adeyemi woke with the feeling that there was someone in her bed. Her eyes fluttered open when a pair of familiar and soft lips were pressed on her skin. Ryan was back. She turned to face him, his eyes were bright, happy. She was happy to see him too.
"I missed you." He said leaving lingering kisses in the crook of her neck
"Me too." She sighed angling her head so he had better access
He was already undressed she found, when she reached to free him of his pants. This is what she wanted right? For him to come back to her, to ease himself into her? He crawled on to her, letting their flesh meet. She let her legs wrap around him, he never wasted time. He had to get his fill of her. She would fulfill his wants. He thrust into her relentlessly. She let him play with her body, contorting her body like she was a doll. She was his, they both knew this. He however, was not hers, they knew this too. She moaned, cried and gasped his name. Still she called out to him. He never returned her calls, instead he asked if she could feel how much he loved her, he commanded her to feel his love in the only way he could express it to her. In the last moments of their throws his eyes closed and instantly his declarations sounded meaningless. She couldn't believe his lies when his eyes were closed. Still she rode him and he grunted his love towards her gripping her hips tightly.
"Ryan, please" She moaned, she just wanted to hear her name fall from his lips. "Please." She begged.
"Fuck, Alison." He groaned as he came, his eyes screwed shut.
Adeyemi froze, that was not her name. He didn't even notice she had stopped as he pushed her hips forward and back, softly egging on his climax. Alison. A feminine Estuary accent filtered through a phone came to her mind. Was that Alison? She climbed off of him and stood beside her bed, she was pissed.
"Who is Alison?" She asked as she stood beside her bed.
"What?" He asked confused. What was happening?
"Alison? Who is she? Is she the broad you've been fucking in England?" Adeyemi all but yelled.
"What- Babe." He stood after pulling on his boxers and jeans, he moved to touch her.
"No, don't touch me. Answer the question."
He ran a hand over his face.
"You don't want to know the answer to this."
"You call me by another woman's name and then expect me to not question you? If you've been fucking her for the past four years, why are you suddenly calling out her name? You've never done that before, Ryan."
"Ade-"
She threw a pillow at him "Answer the fucking question!"
"Yes she's the girl in England, maybe it's because I've been seeing her more often? I don't know it just slipped out." Ryan confessed.
Adeyemi let out a humorless laugh she grabbed her robe and wrapped it around herself.
"You know I let you get away with a lot of shit. I put up with your cheating, I let you crawl into me even after I know you've just laid with some woman you met a club and I'm stupid enough to believe you when you say you love me. What do you want from me Ryan? Why do you keep lying? Can't you be honest for once?" Her eyes were ablaze.
"Fine I don't love you, you're right. I never loved you. I never will. You may end up being queen but as soon you pop out a kid I'm sending you both off somewhere." He said giving her a serious look.
Adeyemi paused, this was the first time he had admitted it. Her hands clenched into fists. Ryan began pacing in front of her.
"God, you were all over me when we were younger it was so easy for me to please you. It was so easy to get you to fuck me. You are so dumb. I never wanted you, I wanted your body. You gave it to me and you'll always give it to me." He stopped pacing was inches from her face.
She pushed him away from her. His words hurt her. They hurt her more than she thought they would.
"You think you're the shit, yeah? You have no idea. Did it make you feel good to cheat on me in public? To humiliate me like that?" She asked, her whole body was shaking she was livid.
"You should see how people look at you 'poor little princess', You should be thankful I make you look good." He spat
"Should I now? You fucking bastard." She spat.
"I liked how you would wrap your arms around yourself when we were out together because you could tell people were staring." He smirked.
He liked that shit? She hated when he wanted to go make appearances at clubs or events that weren't for political reasons, together. People stared and it was because of Ryan and his very public infidelities. He did that on purpose? Because he liked seeing how uncomfortable it made her? To hear that he did things like that on purpose was another stab in her heart. She wanted to hurt him too.
"Is that right? Well I'll tell you what I liked." She replied an air of collected anger surrounding her.
His jaw clenched as the fire in her eyes met his.
"I liked the look your mates gave you when you weren't looking because they knew you had no idea I had fucked them."
Ryan frowned "The hell you just say to me?" His tone was loaded with anger as he walked toward her, she didn't back away.
"I fucked Thomas and Mickey." She said looking him in the eyes "I fucked the twins too. I had them at the same time, but you know all about ménage trios don't you?" She spat.
Ryan swiftly grabbed her by the jaw tightly and pressed her against her closet door. "You fucking slut."
She let out a throaty chuckle "You want to know something else?" She asked mockingly through her clenched teeth.
He stared down at her, daring her to keep talking.
Adeyemi smiled defiantly "You definitely didn't inherit your fathers' size." She said, ending her statement with a short harsh laugh.
He threw her into the floor.
"You fucked my father? You fucking whore." He yelled into her face.
Adeyemi stood and pushed him away laughing "And you were none the wiser. You thought you were so high and mighty going around fucking these bitches, you had no idea that the reason Thomas would be the one to grab the car was so that I could give him a ride before you brought some bitch into it."
She didn't register that he had moved to slap her until she was suddenly looking away from him and felt the harsh sting on her cheek. Her eyes filled with tears at the pain but her turned back to him not wasting a moment and her fist connected with his jaw. They stared at one another then, both were breathing heavily filled with disdain for the other.
Her eyes narrowed as she looked up at him. "I'm going to make your life hell. You may be able to call upon my body as many times as you please no matter what, whenever you want. But my mind is a completely different matter. You think your game is good. My game will always be better."
Ryan threw on his shirt. "Fuck you, I'm leaving and I won't be returning" He said walking out of her room. She followed him as he walked through her apartment.
"Then, I'll see you at the wedding." She said "Remember I'll be the one in the white dress." The gaze in her eyes was as if she didn't care what harm he could do to her, she looked wild.
He glared at her over her shoulder and she smiled despite the pain in her cheek.
"Don't worry I won't tell you which of the groomsmen I fucked during the reception until after the first year."
They were by the front door now. He cornered her against the wall but the crazy gleam in her eye didn't fade and she unlocked the door. "I heard your dad is England for business, tell him I've missed him." She commented opening the door.
Ryan stomped out of the door, slamming it shut so hard her picture frames rattled. Adeyemi stood before her front door her hand opening and clenching into fists repeatedly. She took deep breaths as she did this. She won't cry, that was the mantra running through her head. She always made good on her promises. She was going to make him miserable. First she had a few calls to make.
She finished her calls and sat in the silence of her apartment. The men would make it seem as if she had said those things to hurt him but they were lies. Ryan would ask questions, they'd get them wrong. Ryan would then call and apologize for manhandling her. She wouldn't accept. Taking a bag of frozen vegetables out of the freezer she wrapped a small towel around it and then places it on her cheek. The day had just started but she felt exhausted. She did say them to hurt him but they weren't lies. She slept with them and while she didn't feel much excitement, they were mainly for her own revenge.
After the redness on her cheek went away Adeyemi got into the shower to rid herself of the remnants of her earlier activities. She changed into a long flowing kaftan and slipped on a pair of flats. She walked out of her apartment and down the hall to Jaejeongs' apartment. She knocked and waited.
Jaejeong opened the door slightly to see the vixen he now viewed as a sort of friend standing before him. She looked at him with a sad smile.
"Can I come in?" She asked.
Jaejeong looked at her suspiciously, usually she pushed her way in. He silently opened the door wider to let her through and then closed the door behind her. She curled up on his couch and looked out of his window but was silent. He sat across from her without saying a word. He'd wait for her to begin.
"Ryan returned for a small break." She said nonchalantly.
"He didn't come spend time with you?" He asked.
"He did, but then he called me by another womans name." She said her voice cracking in the middle of her sentence.
"All I ever wanted was to hear him say my name. How can he call out another's so easily? I never gave him a reason to hate me so much he can't even say my name during-." She stopped talking as her tears streamed down her cheeks. Damn it. She didn't want to cry.
