Dark pov(point of view)

"Dark!" my father shouted. "Yes?" I ask. I go to him. "What is it that you need?" I ask.

My father always keeps telling me I have to find the perfect girl. I don't always like hearing this anymore.

I am only 6 years old and he telling me this once I get old enough to get a girlfriend.

"Do you understand?" he asks. "Yes." I say. I went to back to play. My friends ain't here today to play with me because they are busy.

I heard some noises coming from the forest not far my house. I go near it.

My mother told me I shouldn't go in there by myself. Mostly I shouldn't go in there at all.

I see a girl I think. She's crying. "Why are you crying?" I ask.

"My mom and my dad were killed." she said. "Wait, what?!" I shout.

She covers my mouth with hand. "Don't let them know I am here." she said and then took her hand off my mouth.

"Who?" I ask. "I can't say please. Don't tell anyone please okay?" she asks.

"Okay." I say. "I am Shadow." she said. "I am Dark." I say. "Nice to meet you." she said.

"Why are you hiding?" I ask. "From the bad people." she said. "Oh. I will protect you." I say.

"How? They have weapons." she said. "I will find out a way. You could live with me." I say.

"Have you in danger also? No, I don't think so." she said. "Why would I be in any danger?" I ask.

"Because the bad people want to kill me. They might kill you because you are protecting me." she said.

"Well, I make sure neither of us dies." I say. "Do you know how to fight?" she asks.

"Yeah." I say. "So, do I." she said.
