Clawing the wall out of anger as Im on my way, still trying to find any scents of humans. As I’m getting nervous, out of no where a human appears a bit further in front of me with a knife. I quickly stopped myself from sprinting and growl at the human. “Not attacking me?” I thought, and he lowers the knife. My eyes goes from both red to one red and one blue. I close my eyes as a glow appears around me, changing myself to a human, using shape shifting. “Are you a bad guy?” I ask and he walks closer to me, making me more on edge. He’s now right in front of me and I look at him. “You look crowded.” I say as I look into his eyes. “Kinda like Scarlet has… But her eyes are kinder.” He shows a sign of confusion and looks at me more, almost like he’s looking down on me, as if he’s stronger. “I’m a fox. I learned shapeshifting because I was sick of being called a monster. My eyes give me a way to look into your soul almost. I know when something is going on inside your head.” He walks past me and grabs one of my tails, just feeling it. “e-eh. Why don’t you talk?” He taps his mask. I just realize he even has a mask and just wants to facepalm. It has a big X on it. “Are you a mute?” He nods. I close my eyes to concentrate. “Can you hear me?” I say in my mind. I feel tapping on my back and look at him. He nods at me and I look forward. “You should be able to talk too. Just think of what you want to say and I’ll hear it.” I sprint towards a box and sit down, him following me. “I’m Eko.” He looks at me and sits down next to me. “I’m Nero.” A light formed around me and I switched back into a human, using shapeshifting. “I’m Nero.” I smile at him. He nods in return. I move closer to him and touch his tattoo on his left cheek. “What are you doing?” He asks and I shake my head. “Nothing. It’s really weird. There are a lot of similarities in Scarlet and you. I think you’ll like her.” “Who is she.” “She’s a girl I’m looking for but I haven’t found her and I can’t find her scent anymore.” I look down at the ground before looking up at him again. “Will you help me?” I say, now out loud. He shrugs then nods. “Nothing better to do anyway.” He says with our telepathy. “Don’t back out though.” He adds and gets up. He looks up ahead and scans the area. He uses his hand to show that I have to follow him. I nod and as I follow him, a glow appeared around me again, changing me back to a fox. “Get on my back. You tell me the way.” I say with telepathy and he gets on my back as I asked. He points to a wall and I look at it confused but I do what he says. I sprint to the wall and feel a light air from it. I use my claw to claw at the wall and I make a rip in it. Realisation hit that it’s a doorway. I claw the whole part open and walk in. I smell again and find Scarlet and Naoki’s scent. Forgetting Eko is on my back, I sprint forward on full speed. Before making it to the light Eko hit my neck and it makes me drop to the ground, not being able to move for a moment. Eko drags me behind an opening in the wall. “Don’t go running off recklessly, idiot!” He says mad and hit my neck again, making me able to move again. I nod and growl a bit. “Sorry.” He nods and gets from behind to the wall and sneaks himself forward. I follow him in his steps. “I’ve seen them take people and actually torture them. DON’T get caught.” I get even more mad now by what he said. My eyes turn red “Scarlet and Naoki are in danger!” I try to pass him again but he hits my neck again, stopping me from running. “You’re a fast little fellow Eko.” I mumbled in telepathy. He pull me on his back and takes me with him moving forward slowly. He keeps my head on his shoulder so I can look where he’s going. After moving forward for a bit he lays me down again and hits my neck again, making me able to move again. “Just calm your shit.” He said, knowing he’s annoyed. My eyes are back to normal. 1 red 1 yellow. I look at the ground as we move forward again. A light appeared and Eko grabbed me by my neck and quickly getting behind a opening in the wall again. “How are you so fast.” “Been through enough.” He answers as he looks for people. “I think they’re gone.” He says and moves away from the gap in the wall. But before I could get away from the corner someone grabbed him. My eyes turned red, now done with this shit and sprinted behind the person, on my full speed. I bit the person hard in his arm. He let out a scream from pain and tried to throw me off. I look over at Eko who now grabbed a knife and jumped on top of the guy, smashing the knife into the guy’s throat. I let go of the arm and step backwards, away from Eko. “I told you, don’t back out.” He looks at me and a glow went through his left eye, a red glow before being the normal yellow he had. He rips out the knife out of the guy’s throat and puts it back in his shoe. “Once I feel threatened, I kill.” I gulped and nod. “I need you to help me save Scarlet and Naoki. And I want you to meet Scarlet.” I say and look at the dead guy. “Innocent people should be free.” He replies and moves forward again. I follow him but get next to him. “This isn’t over.” We say in unison.
