Nova POV

9:30 am

"Yawn", I say sitting in bed, I realize that it is technically still New Years Day. I look for phone only to see it on the floor...dead. I swing my feet off the bed and start to walk to the kitchen. After plugging in my phone I manually take out some cooking materials and start to cook. My phone turns on and I see a couple messages from Asagai and everyone else saying Happy New Years and etc. I stare awhile at Asagai's text than pick up the phone.

2:30 am

Hey babe! Did you get home safe? I'm so worried...

5:30 am

Are you coming to the get-together tomorrow? It will be good to see everyone before we go back to school. I'll be going so I hope you will come.

9:30 am still

I quickly reply to him saying that I will be going to dance practice today so I won't see him until tomorrow most likely. I sniff the air realizing my eggs and bacon are getting a little too brown. I put aside another plate for later. Rubbing my hands together I get ready to eat. I rub my hands together and get ready to eat..Only to hear a knock at the door.

Surprised I walk up to the door. "Um...Who is it?"

"It's me, Vanessa!" She yells back, I pause trying to think why she would be here. I thought I told everyone I'd be busy today. "I slept over your place because mine was too far!"

"Oh Yeah! Here give me a second." I open the door and let her in. After stepping in and taking off her shoes she walks into the kitchen. "Girl, your food looks good as always." I chuckle as we both sit down at the table. "Do you have any extras?" I nod and hand her the plate that was originally supposed to be my seconds.

As she grabs the plates and murmurs thanks she speaks. "I'm so hurt you forgot I was here" She sighs teasingly.

"I-I I'm sorryy. Forgive me?" I give her puppy eyes and as she laughs. She rubs my hair and I groan. I didn't need my bed-hair looking worse.

As I huff and finish food we make conversation. After finishing and putting our dishes in the sink she gets up.

"See you tomorrow?" I nod as she sneaks a $5 on the table and begins putting on her shoes.

"I saw that and yeah sure." She throws up a peace sign and closes the door.

11:30 am

Buzz.Buzz

I glance over at her phone to see Asagai calling.

"Hello?"

"Yea, I am on my way there."

"What?! Why...I have to go dancing."

"And I'm bringing you."

"Asaga-"

"No. Let me do this, please. We haven't done a lot of couple stuff before Yesterday." I sigh and say "Ok." I begin taking out some clothes to wear as he hands up.

After a while, I take out a coral-colored dress with a bow in the pack and some nude stockings. A simple black purse accompanies it.

I get a text saying "I'm outside. You ready yet?"

Irritated I text back "I haven't even gotten dressed yet!!"You're missing the best part..."

After putting on the dress and stockings I put on sparkly black flats, a charm bracelet, and a bit of styling gel on my hair. I comb it into a high ponytail and take a look in the mirror. I don't have time for makeup as if I take even 5 seconds longer Asagai will probably complain.

I hear my phone buzz and I say out loud "Sorry! Sorry!"

From outside my door, I hear "Your fine I'm sorry for being so annoying."

I jump and scream as I peek out the door to see a smiling Asagai.

"Hey, Babe.."

"I should hit you for scaring me like that arsehole."

"Love you too."

"Uh-Huh." I grab the rest of my stuff and shut the door behind us. Asagai puts his hands on my waist as we begin walking.

11:40 am - 2:30 pm

Dance practice was a bit of a blur. We learned an entire dance and practiced over and over. I sweat a lot and most likely re-filled my water bottle 12 different times. After dropping me off, Asagai had left saying he had business to attend to and to text him when I got home safe. My stomach grumbles as I leave the dance studio.

3:00 pm-5:00 pm

Once entering my apartment, I drop all my stuff, grab a towel and head directly into the shower. Upon exiting I grab an instant pizza pack and throw it into the oven. I then approach my bookshelf to find a book to read. Today seemed like the perfect day to read as I let my sore muscles rest. By the time the pizza finished I've picked out the book "A Footmaids Tale". I spent this time sipping on some hot tea as well. I haven't gotten to relax like this in a very long time. After reading for a few hours, I start to settle down and decide to go to bed early for once. Then I think to myself. "Are you serious? Go to bed early...HAHAHA."

I climb into bed with my laptop and open three tabs. One of Wattpad, Quotev, and Netflix. For the next couple of hours, I switch between the tabs over and over.

8:00 pm

Finally exhausted, I lay down and drift off into a deep sleep. Good Night! ZzZzZzZzZz
