((!! In the Zombie apocalypse !!))

The bus rocked from side to side. I held onto my arms as I stared out the window. Pain still flared up my backside from before. Nobody talked aloud, only whispered to one another. No one sat next to me. They knew what was wrong. Everyone knew what had happened. And he damn well paid for it. But now… it doesn’t even matter.

The wheels began to screech as we came to a stop. Everyone started getting up to look at what the problem was. Probably another breakdown with the trucks. I didn’t bother moving as everyone did. Though I did perk up when hearing unknown voices and unfamiliar people with guns walking along our line of vehicles. More whispers spread throughout the bus when seeing this.

Our driver called back to all of us, saying to sit down and calm down. I gazed back in the bus and watched them all get back in their seats, still whispering among one another. It wasn’t long until we were moving again. Though it was nothing that I expected. First things that were seen were giant metal spikes that pointed to the road, obviously to stop any zombies from getting in. Five story buildings were on either side of the road. I could the multiple people and guns in the windows. These people, take everything seriously. I thought our previous ‘base’ was pretty security tight but… guess not…

We were guided throughout all the other traps on and in the road until we came to the more… regular, homy part of the place where there weren’t any dangerous things. The buses were guided to an abandoned factory, where it was used as a giant garaged.

I guess we’re staying a while…

Everyone was escorted off the buses and other vehicles. I sighed heavily and tried my best to stand, one of the others, Blaze, helping me up and get off. I was able to walk, somewhat, when on my own, and let Blaze go off elsewhere. I noticed that our group ‘leaders’ Drake, Shadow, and Vector were talking with people of the other group.

“Silver?”

I turn around and became astound with who I see.

“Mephiles?”

The ebony hedgehog huffed and smirked.

“Guess it truly is a small world, eh?” he joked.

I chuckled lightly. “I guess so. So uh… you’re in this group?”

“Yeah. I’m the leader.” I then noticed the hand machine gun in his hands and sniper on his back.

“Leader? When did you become a leading figure? Cause I surely don’t remember you being the leader type before,” I remarked, putting my hands on my hips and a mocking smirk on my face.

“And I don’t remember you being so cocky. You trying to hide something?” he teased back. I frown and cup my hands behind my back.

“It’s an apocalypse Mephiles. People will change,” I state. Mephiles narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

“You wanna stay at my place while you’re here? With what I can tell, you’ll be staying for quite a while. And the bunkers can get a bit crowded. And I knew how much you need your room.”

I thought about his offer. It wouldn’t be bad… and I do like my space.

“Sure,” I answer with a smile.

He smiled back and motioned his head. “C’mon. I’ll show ya the way.”

Silver followed close behind his old ebony friend, looking around at all the things around the place. “Where’d you even get all this?” the albino asked.

“Well, had a basement of supplies under the gamble ring at the old workshop, and we had found a military bunker when wandering. We used the beams from a gambling house and turned them into the giant spikes…”

Mephiles went on and on with his talking explanation about their ‘home’ all the way back to his apartment. The door swung open and Silver gawked at the small, but decently used, room. There was an inflated queen size bed on the far left wall, a bookshelf as a wall on the right and kitchen wall on the left, a thin red curtain set on the sides to be used to cover the sleeping area. A small sized dining table sat near the kitchen and a gun shelf was behind it, full of guns and bullets.

“Nice place,” Silver commented, cutting Mephiles from his still ranting speech.

“Oh, thanks,” he replied. Silver looked around the room once more as Mephiles went to the dining table, setting down his rather heavy weaponry, turning back to his friend with his hands on his hips.

“Ya gonna gawk or make yourself at home?” the ebony mocked.

“Both,” the albino stated, walking into the apartment.

“Want something to drink?” Mephiles offered.

“Why not?” Silver took a seat at the table, wincing when he moved too quickly to sit and being reminded of his condition, but replaced his look with a smile when Mephiles turned around. He set a bottle of wine on the table along with two glasses.

“Wine eh? Didn’t think you’d drink any,” the albino commented, taking the bottle and looking at the label.

“Meh. Not much for it but it’s better than the beer.”

Silver looked at him with a quirked eye ridge. “You? Mephiles the Dark? Doesn’t like beer? Who’re you and what’d you do with Mephiles?”

Mephiles laughed. “Unless you like red apple, no thanks.”

Silver made a disgusted face. “I don’t see how people could like that. It tastes nasty.”

Mephiles shook his head with an amused smile. He popped the bottle open and poured them both drinks, giving the albino a glass. They clinked their cups before taking a sip.

“So,” Mephiles started. “What’s been going on with your group?”

Silver hummed and shrugged. “Not a whole lot.”

“‘Not a whole lot’? Then what has happened?” the ebony pushed.

“Things,” Silver stated again.

Mephiles sighed. “Why’re you being so… simple? It’s making me think you’re trying to hide something.”

He took another sip of his wine and looked over to the hedgehog across from him, whose head was down as he stared into the half-filled cup of wine. This made the charcoal ‘hog uneasy.

“Silver?” he called softly.

“I don’t want to talk about it,” he stated, taking a swig of the alcohol and looking elsewhere. Mephiles wanted to know but decided to back off. The two continued to drink silently. Night fell over the small road of a town and the two hedgehogs were still at their table, four empty bottles of wine sitting on the edges.

Silver was laughing at something random that Mephiles had said, the ebony hedgehog sitting back with an admiring glint in his eye. The albino calmed from his small laughing fit and propped his head up on his hand.

“Whatcha looking at?” Silver said, his mind barely at a daze despite all the drinking.

“I’ve been wondering,” Mephiles started, stopping to collect the right words to use.

“Yes?” the albino pushed, laying his head on the table while keeping his gaze with the ebony.

“What happened?” It took Silver a moment before realizing what he meant. “What are you not telling me? I can tell you want to but don’t.”

Amber eyes averted to the table. He really didn’t want to talk about it. It always hurt when he was reminded.

“I was raped,” he said softly, tears pricking his eyes.

Mephiles stared at him bewildered. Many questions went flying through his head but not one did he have the courage to ask, afraid to hurt his friend. Silver abruptly stood up and walked away, sitting in the window on the far side of the room, clutching his arms in a self-hug. The charcoal looked at him for a moment before looking out the window to the side, his mind thinking. A thought came to mind and snake eyes looked to the albino being hesitantly. He could at least try.

Mephiles sighed softly and stood up slowly, carefully walking over to Silver as if he would break if he’d move too fast. He carefully wrapped his arms around the albino’s waist and cupped his hands, resting his head against the others as he looked down.

“I’ll help you,” he whispered quietly.

Silver hummed in confusion. “What do you mean?” he whispered back, voice slightly raspy. Mephiles suddenly became shy and felt he couldn’t say it. He moved his hand and rubbed Silver’s inner thigh, sending the message of what he meant. Silver blushed and looked away, knowing what he meant and what his ‘goal’ was. He swallowed nervously and hesitantly. Mephiles bit his lip and helped Silver from the windowsill to the small bed on the other side of the room. The ebony shifted the curtains to make a red-transparent barrier and wrapped his arms around the albino once more, resting his chin in the crook of his neck.

“Would you like the lights off?” he asked gently.

Silver shakily nodded, slightly shaking entirely from nervousness and fear. Mephiles shyly kissed his shoulder before turning off the lights, coming back to see Silver slowly sliding off his thin jacket. The charcoal hedgehog slowly went behind the snowy and gently helped him, surprising the male from the sudden move. Silver made no other moves against the ebony as he unbuttoned his shirt.

“If you don’t want to-”

“N-No… It’s f-fine…” Silver cut.

Mephiles nodded slowly and slid the cloth off the chalky’s shoulders. He swiftly took off his own shirt and pressed his chest to the others back, nicely kissing the scared ‘hogs shoulder, neck, and jaw line, slowly grazing his hands over the uke's chest and stomach. Silver shivered under the attention and squeezed his eyes shut, clenching his jaw as he tried his best not to whine in fear.

“M-Mephiles…” Silver whispered, his breath hitching when said hedgehog began unzipping his jeans, though stopping instantly when called.

“Yes?” he said softly, stopping all his actions, thinking he was being a bit much on the fear-filled albino.

Said albino didn’t mean for the dark one to stop but then decided to ask a question that came to mind. “W-Why… are you d-doing this… for me?”

Mephiles had to think for a minute. He then gracefully pulled the uke's face towards himself and kissed him passionately. Silver was stunned. Mephiles pulled away slowly and gazed into wide amber eyes. He slowly turned him around and carefully and grabbed his waist, pulling the albino up and laying him down on the bed.

“Trust me,” Mephiles whispered.

Silver swallowed the lump in his throat and brought his hands up to his muzzle, nodding shyly. Mephiles smiled lightly at his action and leaned down, kissing him once more. Silver kissed back shyly and tilted his head, pushing up into the dark one to deepen the kiss. It didn’t take long before sweet moans echoed within the room.

(not sure if I’ll put an actual lemon in for a couple more shots or not. Just an fyi)

Morning swung around and the two hedgehogs slept peacefully on the air mattress bed, the delicate velvet sheets covering their sleeping frames. A loud knock on the door awakened the ebony hedgehog. He groaned tiredly as he looked around his surroundings in a sleep daze, seeing where he was and what was around him, smiling at the sights. His thoughts were interrupted by another knock on his door. With a grunt of annoyance, Mephiles got to his feet and put on a pair of jogging pants before opening the door to whomever dared to wake him.

“What?” he asked annoyed and tired, rubbing his eye with his palm.

“One of the people of the guest group had told us that one of theirs hadn’t been with them when they went to bed in the bunkers,” he stated.

“I know,” Mephiles stated, his irritation growing.

“You do?” the soldier said, stunned that the other knew something vital to the others. Mephiles only looked up to him, full annoyance in his snake eyes. The male got the massage and nodded his head, turning on his heels and walking off. Mephiles closed the door and pinched the bridge of his nose.

“You didn’t have to be mean about it,” came Silver’s soft voice. Mephiles turned around to see the albino in a yellow sweater and pink panties. The ebony smiled at the adorable sight and strode over to him, grabbing his waist and kissing him passionately.

“Hey there beautiful,” Mephiles purred.

“Hey there handsome,” Silver purred back. “Thank you for last night.”

“You’re very welcome my dear.”
