Eko's point of view!

“Eko, get your shitty ass up and get something to drink for your mom.” My dad yelled as my mom pushed me off of the couch, falling forward with my face on the table. A cut formed on my chin, blood running down my throat from my chin. I pull my shirt up to hold it against my chin as I get up, quickly making my way to the kitchen. I decide to clean my wound before I get to the drink. Before I can even get to making the drink, my parents storm in and hit me to the ground. I look up at them and they look furious for some reason. “Why are you being so goddamn slow!” My dad yelled and hit me again. My mom gave a small push to my dad so he moves out of the way and she got on top of me, starting to strangle me. I try to kick her off but my dad keeps my leg in place. My mom grabs a knife out from on top of the kitchen table and kept it against my throat, but because I’m struggling it cut into my throat. She moved it to the other side but the same happened. As I’m almost getting out of breath, I feel something happening inside of my head, like a switch turning. My left eye turned yellow instead of green and a tail grabbed my mom’s arm, quickly seeing it’s mine. A weird star like design formed under my left eye as well. A red glow shot through both my eyes, the anger I had bottled up, snapped. She lost grip from the sudden grip on her arm by a tail and shouted “Monster!” Before she can recover her grip I grabbed the knife she was holding and slashed it through her throat. The redness in my eyes stayed as I got up and moved closer to my dad who’s backing away from me. I throw the knife backwards, hitting my mom’s head, all the way through it, into the ground. I jumped towards my dad and dig my teeth into his throat, then ripping off the skin and like that, devouring him until nothing is over. I get up from my half eaten dad and walk towards the front door, pushing it open and walking out. I wipe my face with my arm and look up to the sky. I try to speak but nothing comes out, hitting the door out of frustration. I walk back inside, then go into the bathroom to look into the mirror. My throat had 2 cuts, my chin 1 and a hand print was formed on my throat as well. I looked away from the mirror and went to my parents room to look into their closet. I grab a shirt that was my dad’s and rip it, getting a cloth from it with an X on it. I wrap it around my mouth and neck to hide it all. I now make my way back outside, without looking back.

“Oii, Eko you okay?” Nero says as they switched back to a human. “We fell asleep but you were very restless in your sleep.” I shrug and get up. “Let’s just go.” I said in our telepathy. I can feel Nero’s eyes from behind me but I ignore it and they give in. “Aye let’s just go.” Nero says and comes next to me. They switch back to a fox and I get on their back. I nod and he starts sprinting. Before I know it, they changes course and runs into a different direction. “I smell Scarlet and Naoki!” Nero said in telepathy. “Calm down this time!” He nods and starts slowing down as we reach a room where a light is shining. I get off of Nero and look around. I grab my knife and throw it forward. A shadow of a man just formed around the corner so I timed it just right so it would hit it’s shirt. Nero turned into a human and walked up to the guy. “Where are my friends!” He shouts and I walk up to the guy as well, grabbing another knife and holds it against the guy’s throat. “U-Up ahead!” He trembled as he says it out of fear. “So weak…….” I said to Nero in telepathy and slit the guy’s throat, grabbing the knife back that was in his shirt in the wall. Before I can put my knifes back into my belt, Nero grabs them from behind me and crushed them with their teeth. “Stop killing! I know there’s good in your heart!” I look at him, annoyed. “Can look at me like that all you want. I know you’re good.” He said again and I turn away from them and move towards the way the guy told us to. Nero followed. “The scent is getting stronger.” They said and their pace changed, now walking past me and sniffing around. “This way!” He said and runs towards a staircase. We go down the stairs, towards the basement and end up in a laboratory looking place. “This is inside of a school??” Nero asks and I shrug in return. We walk quietly, just looking around the place for any sign of life. In the distance, there were voices so we stopped walking and I look up to see a place we could sneak up and get closer to the voices. “Go back up.” I say in telepathy and they look at me, surprised. “I need you to be at least safe. I’ll get your friends back. Red hair and blue hair right? Rest will die.” I kick Nero hard, making him fly back to the staircase, but see it’s too hard as he fell unconscious. I shrug and jump up towards the ceiling and grab onto hooks that were in the ceiling. I swing myself up onto big machines and move forward that way. The voices draw near and I look down where I think the voices are coming from. A girl with short scarlet coloured hair get’s whipped by a scientist looking guy but she doesn’t give a kick. The blue haired boy was there as well, the one Nero talked about. “Still nothing.” The guy said and a different guy appeared from behind a machine. “Lets take a break for now. The boss kept us up all night because of these subjects.” The other guy nodded and they walk towards a door further up ahead. I jump down the machine and get in front of the girl. The girl looks up and looks straight into my eyes. All I could do, is stare back.
