The following afternoon Blaze and his parents came over to my house for tea to discuss the wedding arrangements.

"Oh you must be very excited to marry my son," I rolled my eyes at his mother's words and quietly sipped my herbal tea which according to my mother was a special blend from Italy. "Well I know I am mother. I have known Ari for a really long time so its not a surprise that I've fallen in love with her," I nearly choked on my tea. "You filthy liar," I glared at him, "admit it you just want to make my life miserable."

"Ari!" my mother gasps in shock, "apologize right now,"

I stood up, "there's no way I would love a monster like you....Blaze." The tension in the air was thick and steadily increasing as Blaze slowly stood up and through the corner of my right eye I could see our parents holding their breaths. He still managed to slip from their grasps. 

"Come with me," without another word he grabbed my hand and dragged me from the patio and into the kitchen. The door banged loudly as it slammed behind us. "You dumb brat what did I say about calling me by my first name," Blaze whispered slowly, "I-uh." 

"WHAT DID I SAY!" a loud bang echoed in the room as he slammed his fist unto the kitchen counter. "DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME BY FIRST NAME" he gripped the front of my baby blue dress, "the only reason why I'm marrying you is becuase you're rich nothing else," he then laughed, "do you really think I could fall for someone as ugly as you?"

I felt the tears strolling down my cheek until I heard a familiar voice, "if you know what's good for you Blaze you let her go," a calm yet dangerous voice said behind him. Immediately his grip loosen and his anger was immediately replaced by fear. There was only one person on this planet that could call his name and get away with it. 

"Aaron what are you doing here?" I asked in surprise, he shrugged in response before walking towards us with his hands in his jeans pockets. "I was jogging nearby and I heard shouting so I got worried about you," he paused in front of Blaze and grabbed his throat lifting him off his feet, "Aaron no wait....you'll kill him!" I watched in horror as Blaze's face turned a bright shade of blue. After letting him fall harshly to ground he walked over to me and wiped my tears away. "Honestly Ari you really are a baby."

"Now come on lets go, I'm curious to meet your parents. You never let me see them."
