I look up and down the crowded street. The sun is bright and people hurry past. I've never seen so many people crowded like this. Where have I fallen too, and why? Right now I don't have the time or the means of figuring it out. I follow the mortals, slipping between them and they don't even glance my way. I thought mortals hated being so close together? All of the things I'd read were wrong. Unless they didn't care for such conditions as these, the crowded sidewalks and streets?

A smell very wondrous and heavenly, thick and sweet but bitter rises to my nostrils and I turn to look at the shop window next to me. The sign in the shop window reads, "Whispering Bakery". The door is wide open which explains the thick wondrous smell. I peer between people on the street and sidewalk. What I see is the impossible.
