I was a teen boy of 16 named Alex then, trying to keep my 12 year old smart mouth little sister Ashley whom in check; Anyway it was getting dark so I went to get her…..”Ashley ,Ashley!! I know you can hear me” I yell softly; “I’m busy talking to someone so will you not be so rude!!” Ashley exclaimed softly back from the dark street. Later Ashley and our 8 year old neighbor’s daughter Mina came out of a misshapen hole from the fence and it surprised me! “How - when - where - why is Mina doing here?” I asked; “Of all the questions you ask that, Alex?” Ashley teased as Mina just stared at a brunch of fireflies. I later just took Mina and my sister home so I can be alone on a “walk” but really I’m a secret guardian...in training but I was still a pretty big deal and my family is a “sacred” secret or was one, but I’ll get to that later. So It was around about 11:00 p.m when I was at railway park, I heard something rustle in the dark and I almost flinched to guard-mode with a huge tree branch in hand until I saw the silhouette of the girl Alice-line. At that time I didn't know it was her, nor what would become of me, all I knew was that it was dark and only moon has showed it’s face that night but when I saw those eyes of hers, I fell in love. We started meeting at the park at night ever since when I wasn’t doing late night school work or clubs but I still knew almost nothing about her besides she loves pumpkin pie. Sometimes I think who could she really be and if she was in Blossombell Brooke School (I mean there is like one high school in this whole town), the girls I do know just ignore or just hate me cause I’m the mayor’s kid, so my mystery girl must home schooled cause some kids do get home school still right? Unfortunately getting lost in thought on a Tuesday at 5:30p.m while walking for me is bad cause my sister was with me and now bugging me, “so what are you thinking about?” said my sister teasingly. “It’s none of your business what I’m contemplating about, anyway what do you want now?” I said back stubbornly,but intend of her normal teasing about my slowly decreasing number list of girls who can be my date for prom by next year when I’m a high school senior, Ashley actually asked me if I could come with her and Mina to meet with a friend, then I did know I was going to meet a female walking plant, 5 air breathing fish men, Alice-line, and who can forget 2 zombies. When I said that one word “sure”, I got that cold shiver that nothing in Sation was never going to be the same.
