People usually kill themselves 'cause of depression and shit, but that's not the case with me.

Tomorrow will be Valentine's Day, and I have no idea who to make a Valentine for.

I don't really like the girls in my class. I'm not gay or anything,(trust me on this one, I'm a complete homophobe if anything) it's just... everyone in my school is...

Bland. Colorless.

Yeah, that's a good way to describe 'em.

There are the feminists who whine on and on about misogyny and how men are pigs.

The lesbians, the gays whose voices are probably damaging my hearing.

The beefy guys, the thirsty girls, the ones who fake their personalities, the fake smiles, the boring conversations.....

Blah blah blah.

All of 'em can go to hell for all I care.

I just want to be left alone. It's peaceful.

Since I barely speak to anyone you think it would be that way, but there's a problem. And its name is Adrian Vasquez.

He is one of the very few genuine people in the school.

I don't hate him...

But I'm not saying I like him either.

He always somehow gets me to do dumb shit with him, even though I always decline when he invites me somewhere he still manages to get me to come with him.

And that, to me, is REALLY irritating.

February 14

Today's the day. If I don't get any cards, it'll make me seem like a loser. And if I don't give out cards, people with think there's something wrong with me. You see, I've been giving almost everyone in our class cards even after elementary school. My mom was the only one who didn't realize that in middle school, you gave 'em to your crush, not all your classmates. Thanks to her, every time I didn't bring them my classmates would start nagging me and asking me for chocolate, and then I'd end up ringing up my mom and telling her to buy some.

Today I would come prepared. I put all twenty-two valentines into a plain red bag. Just as I opened the door, my phone vibrated in my backpack.

'Ah,' I thought, 'forgot it was in there.'

I looked at the screen. It was a call from Adrian.

I pressed the green button and put the phone up to my ear.

"Hello?" I said, impatient.

Silence.

"Adrian?"

.......

"For fuck's sake, Adrian, stop botheri--"

"WHAT THE FUCK MAN? WHAT ARE YOU DOING? IT'S LIKE 9:30 ALREADY!! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH TROUBLE I'VE GOTTEN MYSELF FIN TO COVER FOR YOU??"

"9:30? It can't be. My clock reads as--"

"FUCK YOUR CLOCK, ELLIOT! I'M IN MR. GONSHA'S CLASS AT THE MOMENT, AND HE COULD COME BACK ANY SECOND. GET YOUR ASS HERE, BEFORE HIS CLASS IS OVER AND HE TAKES ATTENDANCE!"

And with that, he hung up. I checked the time on my phone. 9:34.

Fuck.
