Dark pov

6 years later

"Daddy!" I hear Shadow shout. He can't speak much words. But he can say daddy clearly though.

"What is it, Shadow?" I ask and go find him. Shadow can't walk very well.

'I want to play like other kids.' he wrote on a piece of paper. "Well, I did get the money finally for the surgery. I hope it will make you able to walk." I say.

few weeks after the surgery

"Daddy!" I heard Shadow shout(black with a silver tipry (how don't know how they appeared)). I went to him. He was crying. When I looked his legs. They were dark red.

I take him to emergency room. They said the surgery he had wasn't done right.

I felt bad because they said Shadow won't be able to walk for a few months now.

I want my son to be happy. I want him to do fun things. But now he can't do that. I feel so bad.

"Daddy." Shadow said. "Yes?" I ask. "Me, play w-with y-y-you outside?" he asks.

"Yeah, once you get better but that won't be for awhile. I am sorry." I say.

"Okay." he said. I was told that he can't do things with his legs for so long either even after he gets better.

He has to be careful and also if his legs get like that again to bring him back to the hospital.

After a few months

I play outside with Shadow. He is happy. I have a job at night but I am off on the weekends usually step if they say I have to do over time or if someone got sick and they need someone to a job at my work.

"Daddy." Shadow said. "Yes?" I ask. "Park?" he asks. "Sure, later. First we have to eat lunch." I say.

After we eat we go to the park for awhile. Shadow learned how to swing on a swing with only his arms when he can't swing with both his arms and legs at the same time.

"Daddy, push." he said. I give him a little push. He doesn't have school right now because it is summer break.

He will be in 1st grade next school year. He likes going to school. During school, I always ask his day and how was school.

If anybody bullies him at school. I go to the school and tell them. I also talk to the child who is bullying him.

"Daddy, higher!" he shouts. "I don't want you to fall off Shadow." I say.

"Awwww." he says.

Shadow pov

My daddy is so awesome. I am glad he is my daddy. I want to talk to him more better but I am smart in some ways.

"Daddy!" I shout. "Yes?" he asks. "Play tag." I say. "Okay, who is it then?" he asks.

"You." I say then start to run. "I am gonna get you." he says. He doesn't go to fast though because I can't run fast because of my legs. He likes to play fair.

After playing tag for awhile we go home.
