When I woke up, I expected to see my parents sitting close by. I was greeted with nothing but the scenery. Maybe they took a wrong turn? That's what I thought then. I began to lose hope after a couple hours though. But my parents would never abandon me would they? Could this be a test or something? To see how long I can survive by myself? I'm still alive at least. The sharp pain of hunger hit me. I hadn't eaten since yesterday. Grabbing a granola bar from my pack, I sat down on the stump and started on it. It had chocolate in it. Awesome. Chocolate is love, chocolate is life. After I finished it, I looked at the pond. Was the water safe to drink? At home I liked watching a lot of survival videos, I never thought I would actually need them. I knew how to filter water with two cups and a strip of fabric. I could do that after I finish my water. After sitting around doing basically nothing, I wish I had brought something entertaining to do. I summoned a knife and cleared away a patch of grass so I could draw on the dirt. Oh I forgot to tell you didn't I. My family was, I guess you could say, magical. I got cool abilities and stuff from my parents. Right now, I figured out that I can summon knives and slightly alter the moods of people around me. I traced a flower in the dirt. Mom always said there was more potential. I wonder what else I could do. I drew a pair of eyes on the flower. I'll just draw for now. I put a smile on the flower. It was too wide and looked menacing. Dragging the blade across the ground, It blurred the picture so I could get a fresh canvas. Sighing, I stabbed the knife into the earth and laid down on the grass, watching the clouds.
