I use the isolated road to avoid any encounter with another car. As metres on the dashboard escalate, I must away from school. It will be too much of a commotion if it happens there. I even saw the signboard showing "West wood -30 metres ". It's really far from my school now. I drove past town and then past my neighbourhood. I peeked at the rear side mirror; the faceless was still following me. How much longer does that thing kept on chasing me?

This was my first time confronting against an aggressive thing like that. My mind goes blank and there was a creepy feeling shrouding me. Where should I go? To My house or the church? Now something just popped inside my mind. Ah, that thing should be in here as I said to myself. I immediately searched for it at once. If memory serves me correct, it should be in the dashboard.

"Got it!!" I said after successfully finding the lucky spray of bottles.

"What the?!" Just a minute my eyes was looking somewhere else; I fail to pull aside of the road and unexpectedly bumped my forehead on the steering wheel. I pressed the acceleration pedal. Good grief! It's no use. My tire got trapped between the divider. I'm totally doomed now.

"Shit!" I shouted as I burst out my anger by smacking the steering wheel.

I do not have the guts to step out from my car. My phone! I must call dad. Upon reaching my handbag, suddenly I heard a loud creaking sound coming from the driver's window. I gulped and my eyes widened as my head turns to the left. I want to scream but it's held back due to the shivers I felt within me. Suddenly, the faceless climbs up on my window! My heart raced. At this rate if it swings its axe, surely it shatter the glass with one blow.

"Get away from me, you slimy thing!!" I shouted as I rushed to the back seat in hopes of finding a harder item to kill this thing.

BANG!! BANG!!! The window shatters. A few of the broken pieces of glass scraped my skin. I felt the pain came rushing in.

"STAY AWAY!!" I said feeling rather horrified. My hands trembled as I tried opening the back door of my car.

The door is totally jammed. As I watch its ugly mouth, I can feel it's ready to jump toward me. As quick as I could before the faceless approaches me, I sprayed the bottle straight to it. The faceless howled in pain, slowly its face began to burn and produce a vapour accompanied with dreadful sulphur like smell. Thank God, the holy water works well. I picked the umbrella up and jumped to the front seat. The faceless still screaming in pain.

"I must find some help" I said.

Before I step out from the car, on the spur of the moment, the faceless scratched my right leg with its claws. The cut was too deep that it causes my tears to ultimately come out. I kicked the faceless to break free from its grasp. My leg started to bleed and slowly becomes numb.

"I must fight this. I ... MUST ... FIGHT THIS!" I cried in pain.

Though my mind kept telling me this but my body are at uttermost limit. I turned around to check whether that thing was still following me. Before I knew it, my head feels light and all of a sudden my body falls down to the ground with intense forced. I opened my eyes, trying to get hold onto anything to pull myself back up. It was a useless effort. The monstrous mouth of the faceless was ready to eat me ...the sound of its greeting teeth ...the sulphur smell and its repulsive saliva dropped on my face. Its hand jabbed at the area where I bled. It worsens my injury that I can feel that my blood flowing out. My head started to spin and vision slowly faded out. In this situation, I recall my past, the wolves attack, the scar, the near death experience when I cannot do anything. It was a fearsome moment.

Will I die again? I hate this cursed so much that I want.... No! My hands grabbed hold of the umbrella. I thrust it directly inside its mouth and opened it. Easy target for the small body.

"Don't ever dream to eat me!" I said.

I slowly moved away from the scene and it took a moment before I could breathe again. I watched the faceless struggled to pull out the umbrella from its mouth. Something capture my attention, the faceless started to murmur some word.

"or...ac..le..di..vi.."

Oracle? divi? Divi the word seems incomplete. The faceless struggled again as I saw it starts to swing the axe aimlessly. No way, I can evade its attack this time. I closed my eyes as tightly I could and said a quick prayer.

"RED, CAN YOU STAND UP?!"

That voice. I recognised this voice. I opened my eyes slowly and saw the blackest eyes I ever see in my life. The tattoo on his chest glows. I saw him fought with the faceless. My eyes cannot describe what I saw. I was totally speechless, but he totally stopped the faceless without touching even a single finger toward it. The faceless was aiming toward me with its axe but all of a sudden it froze in the mid-air.

"You?" I was stunned of course. I do not know whether Mr. Rude was a saviour or nastier foe than the faceless. Mr. Rude neglected my question as the faceless tried to escape from that 'frozen in time' ability of his. His eyes fixed on the beast.

"Damn." He swears and abruptly gives a very sharp stare toward me.

"Red, Are you a virgin?" He questions me with his wicked grin even though in this tense condition.

"What the hell are you asking this kind of ridiculous question you moron. Yooouu should -." I did not even finish my sentences yet as Mr. rude take hold of my chin. His minacious black eyes effectively made me to stop babbling. I do not know how to go against at him.

"I guess it a yes." He simply put.

His soft lip touches mine. My ears felt the ringing and the roaring sensation. I felt something sucking up my life force and I become numbed, weak and flustered with his kiss. He released me. He looks at me with his spellbinding eyes as I gradually closed my eyes, listening to his last word.

"Weakling being." He commented. A spectre of my past come flashing inside my mind. That voice... where have I heard that before?

"Rose!!" A female voice shouted.

My eyes opened. Arietta's voice echoed throughout my ears. Surprisingly, I woke up in the infirmary room. Was everything that happened just now only a dream? There are no single injuries on my body! I do not even feel the slightest pain on my body. My mind goes into a puzzled state that causes me to forgetting that Arietta was present there. My car!! My car was a total mess. All of this must have been some kind of joke. I got out of the bed and rushed out from the infirmary.

"Rose, where are you going?" Arietta shouts out my name. She was totally shocked with my sudden behaviour. I ran off along hall way keep on denying on what happened.

"It's not a dream." I said over and over again. I felt the pain before. I felt his kiss.

It was out of the question and unrealistic to which I am completely healed just like that. I stopped running from the moment I saw him standing outside of the corridor.

He lit it and places the lighter back inside his leather jacket pocket. A big puff of smoke slowly comes out. He shifted his gaze toward me. He knew that I needed an explanation about what happen before. A lot of question kept playing inside my mind. A human with a sixth sense like me? No human can do all of this. Is he a ghost? Or a Spirit? Why is it that other people can see him? Even normal people cannot saw the faceless but he can and he even stops the faceless from causing havoc. I started to see things a bit differently about him. This explains that he is not that ordinary. In the end, I gather up all my courage and started to ask him. I looked at his black eyes. His expression however looks dead serious.

"What are you?" I frowned. I bite my lips and all of a sudden looking down as i waited for his answer. His gaze locked onto mine and I started to feel a bit uncomfortable. He showed his mischievous grin and chuckles.

"Red, you're totally different from her." he blows another puffed of smoke.

"Her? You're not answering my question

"Her? You're not answering my question. I want to know... Who are you?" I demanded and act persistent. He was talking nonsense.

He raised one eyebrow and then leaps to his feet. Our face was now in front of one another. This was enough to make me want stay away from him. Then another student passes by staring at the both of us. A rare sight of them to see both of us together. I don't care. I need a truth even though I not quite sure, whose side his on.

"Patience Red". He simply says. My eyes never astray from his gaze. He stroked my red hair carelessly from my face so I could not move away from his attention. He started to lower his body. As he leaned his body at me, he began to whisper in my ear with his delicate voice.

"I'm just the Honourable Incubus." He said.
