Suddenly Adam awoke to the sound of approaching footsteps.

"Hey kid you can go now".

As he was walking out of the station he caught a glimpse of the time.

"Fuck it's 9:17 I'm gonna be late for school"

Was all he said before he booked it for the school still a little wet from being in the rain the night before. As he made it into class the bell rang and students started to take their seats. It was last period which meant it was gym and Adam could let his clothes dry. After gym class Adam was the last person in the change room so that gave him some time to change and get his 'stuff' together. As Adam was changing his shirt Matthew and his three 'minions' walked into the change room.

"A little birdie might've told me that your mom kicked you out of your house last night"

"Fuck off Matthew"

"Whatcha gonna do about it? Huh?"

Adam turned around and gave Matthew the look of death.

"So that's what it's gonna be huh Adam?"

He paused and looked right at him.

"Pin him down and make sure he doesn't squirm"

Before Adam could do anything Matthew's minions pounced on him pinning his head to a bench and his arms back so Matthew could do whatever he wanted. Matthew turned Adam's head sideways facing him so he could see the expression on his face, then started punching and kicking the shit out of Adam. Matthews's minions then let Adam fall on the floor as they let him go. When Adam's body hit the floor he started moaning in pain as he spit out some blood. The minions then pinned Adam's arms down and Matthew started kicking Adam's ribcage. Adam suddenly screamed and curled up into the fetal position clutching the left side of his ribcage. Suddenly Matthew and his minions looked very worried that someone heard Adam scream. Matthew and his minions then 'bounced' leaving Adam lying by himself on the change room floor in excruciating pain. Adam stayed there in the exact position for over an hour until a janitor came along.

"So tell me what you want, what you really really want--"

"Hey kid are you alright?"

The janitor helped Adam up and was going to call for an ambulance but Adam said.

"I'm fine okay!"

He grabbed his stuff and stormed out of the school in a slow painful process.
