The next morning it was school and they didn't realize as they walked into the school they were holding hands until it was to late. By the the time they realized that everyone had seen them. Adam was at his locker getting his books for class when Matthew pounded Adam's head into his locker and he instantly fell to the ground.

"Fag"

Matthew said before he spit in Adam's face. The back of Adam's head started bleeding profusely. Everybody just stood there watching the incident take place. Adam's first thought was to run off to the bathroom and get himself cleaned up so he did and went to get patched up at the nurses office. After the incident many other people kept tormenting him by calling him a fag or physically hurting him so he took the rest of the day off. When he got back to the apartment he turned on the shower and sat in the tub with his clothes on letting the water soak through and began to cry. When Scott got home he found Adam crying in the shower so he got in and hugged him as if he was his son and Adam could see that someone also gave Scott a beating too. He didn't find out till the next day that someone took a video of him getting his head banged on his locker and posted it on the internet. Throughout the next school day he was tormented again and again so was Scott. It wasn't until after gym class that things really escalated. Adam was sitting on a bench thinking about why all of these people were tormenting him when Matthew and his minions crept into the Change room and when they got to Adam, Matthew grabbed a sweater and wrapped it around Adam's head. Adam didn't know what was happening until the back of his head hit Matthews's face.

"Ahhhh what the fuck! You're going to pay for that!!"

Matthew was so mad that he pushed Adam to the ground and started choking him to death. Adam's lungs started to burn and his face was turning red because of the lack of air. Then a teacher walked into the change room to see what all the commotion was. Adam had never been so thankful in his life till now.

"Matthew what the hell are you doing--get off of him!!!"

The teacher than ripped Matthew of Adam and realized that he wasn't breathing. The teacher instantly did CPR. Adam suddenly gasped air, the teacher then helped him up and gather his senses. Matthew was long gone by then. Once Adam was back to normal the teacher let him leave. Adam didn't want to go back to Scott like this just yet. So Adam climbed up the fire escape to the apartment building and sat on the edge of the roof debating wether he should jump or go back to Scott. Scott was sitting in the living room with the window open when he heard someone weeping on the roof. He went up to the roof not preparing himself for the worst until he saw Adam standing there looking like he was about to jump.

"Adam?"

Adam turned his head just as the edge of the roof broke and he fell.
