Just as Adam fell, Scott with all the strength he had, ran to the edge and caught Adams hand. Scott pulled Adam up and just held him close.

"I'm so sorry Scott! I'm so sorry!!"

Said Adam while crying hysterically.

"I know Adam, I know"

"I'm just so sorry for getting you involved"

"Why don't we get inside and worry about that tomorrow?"

"Ok"

They went inside and cuddled each other for the rest of the night. Scott woke up in the middle of the night worried that Adam was gone but he wasn't he was still laying in his arms breathing slowly on his chest. Scott couldn't help but admire Adam, he was perfect in every way. When Adam awoke Scott told him how much he loved him. As Adam shifted off the bed to go to the bathroom he collapsed on the floor and was shaking like he was having a seizure. Scott called for an ambulance that came right away. When the ambulance came Adam was still seizing on the floor and the paramedics rushed in and did what they had to do then rushed him to the hospital with Scott also in the ambulance. The doctor made Scott wait in the waiting area. It killed Scott not being there with him and knowing that anything could happen to him. The doctor then walked out and said.

"Head trauma is why he had the seizure. He is resting now but you can go see him if you'd like?"

"Yes thank you"

The doctor brought him to the room and left. Scott then climbed onto the bed and fell asleep hugging Adam. Scott awoke to Adam moving his hair to the side and hugged him tighter and started to cry but Adam just wiped his tears away and hugged him back. Adam wasn't released for a couple of weeks and Scott never left his side the whole entire time they were at the hospital. Adam wasn't allowed to leave the apartment for two weeks so Scott decided it was a good time to go get Adam's missed school work. Everyday that Scott came back from school he always had new cuts and bruises all over his body. Scott walked into the apartment and sat next to Adam on the couch.

"You know you don't have to go to school just to get my school work"

"I know but at least one of us has to pass this year"

"Who's been hitting you? Scott?"

"You know who"

"I'm sorry"

"I know"

Adam then quickly sat on Scott's lap and started kissing him. Scott then picked up Adam and put him down on the bed carefully making sure not to hurt his head. They made out a bit but Adam stopped and just laid his head on Scott's stomach and drifted off into a death like sleep.
