I felt soft fur against my skin.

I lifted my finger to pet my friend.

I looked up at him.

He smiled.

I felt blood rushing through my veins.

He was breathtaking.

Beaming warmth and light directly at me.

I stood up.

He was taller than me.

He patted my head.

I tried to look into his heart, his soul, but his eyes were closed while he smiled.

I didn't know what he was thinking or feeling.

But I know what he made me feel.

I opened my mouth, but didn't say anything.

I couldn't think of anything.

I couldn't think.

My vision was blurry.

I closed my eyes.

I breathed in.

I breathed out.

Slowly.

My head hurt.

Thoughts shot through my mind.

I heard voices, but didn't understand.

I focused myself.

And I heard.
