Officer Billy's Death

Officer Billy's Death

Jul 16, 2017

Pollution and thick smells of overflowing garage cans, was the best term to describe the air that late winter’s evening. The snow flurries stuck to the tall towers to the low garbage filled allies. Cars now slowly passed in the infamous roads of Validneean. A city, famous for its crime rates and the newest perpetrator, an unknown killer who had no name.

His wanted posters ‘awarded’ his achievements, giving the public just one reason for him to be found or located. One aged poster stuck on a brick wall near an ally, it showed his mark, the sign that he defines himself with, since there were no accurate pictures of him the police just had to accept it. The only thing they truly had at this point to identify the serial killer was this mark they copied onto the poster. It was a pecticular sign and it puzzled everyone who encountered it. The mark, was the spider he engraves on the heartless and headless bodies of his victims.

Detectives were still smattering over this small clue he tauntingly granted them each time he committed a crime he selectively performed. They suspected that with a small double edged knife, he would cut into back of his victims and would create his ‘logo’ which was a spider. The spider's legs would always be stretched out on the back including the arms and legs of the victim. They were also always naked when they found them dead, no matter where they were.

At this dramatic climax, the local police could not do it alone no more. The killer had already drastically depleted numbers of police. The governing officials grew more on edged and now were stepping in to help with the case, but as usual when the government steps in, they took over the whole case. But it did show the public how badly in trouble they were in, because over fifty people were dead by him, this monster, in a matter of only two months since his first appearance.

A man walked so proudly on those dark streets it was wicked of him. He was lanky and tall, so it looked like his suit was specially designed for him. He wore a black one, with a white shirt and black bow tie. His gloves, matched his button down shirt with his right one gripped around a long cane. He looked very different from the usual men walking on the streets these days. Their attire were sweat pants, stained in alcohol and drugs, with mom’s left over, frozen packaged meals on their shirts.

He hummed tipping his hat to the police officer on stand, next to the poster near the ally. This made the man stop and walk backwards to look at the poster that he just carelessly passed by. The policeman gave him a suspicious look. He was a fatter man with doughnut sprinkles on his lips and his badge was shined and cleaned by grease.

“Hmmm” The man said in a snake like gurgling voice. “I’m not pleased.”

The policeman’s eyes shifted and he swallowed hard. His fat finger tips looked for the gun. But his holster was empty….did he forget it at home again? He thought to himself as he glared at the tall man. There was something strange about him, how he walked, how his face was not seen through the shadows, the top hat made. “Whoever is behind these acts will be far more than incarcerated.”

The man’s head seemed to turn slowly towards the fat officer. “Oh if they catch him…but look at this picture…the spider….they got it all wrong….” The man looked back to stare at the poster.

The eyes of the policeman popped out and he tried to reach for his gun again.

“Indignity is what I feel,

you search for your gun, because of my statement.” The man hissed. “All of you blue collar’s discriminate between you and us, the rich with your smattering knowledge of what is really going on in the world!”

The policeman grew stiff and the man began to laugh hysterically. He slowly put in the face the of police man, his very own point of his gun ready to fire at his very own head. “Policemen, always fail me with my own wits. Why do you think Officer Billy, you were selected to be stationed in the city late at night?”

Officer Billy was horrified and looked down at his tag clipped at his left breast, across from his badge of certification. He looked back up, his mouth partly opening before closing it again, realizing that many bullets any second now, could fill his mouth.

“I killed half of the police station's staff, when they came knocking on my door…just in time too, as I expected. I am a man of skill Officer Billy. I tend to espionage because I’m good at it, I tend to kill always because I’m excellent at it. It’s my job you see, to control population of you filthy, sexual beings!” The man spatted proudly in the lamp light. There was not a car at all driving now, and the big church bell struck midnight.

Officer Billy fell to his knees looking away from the killer. “They were right, you are a psychopath”

“You know they all say that.” The man said annoyed. He stuck the gun inside his jackets pocket, putting his cane on his shoulder with one hand. His other long hand snatched Officer Billy’s collar at first but then his nails decided digging into Officer Billy's fat neck. Officer Billy felt dizzy as if the nails were injecting cyanide right into his veins, it made him feel sleepy. Officer Billy could barely move as he was being dragged into the snowy ally.

The murder went on, agitation was in his voice. “Psychopath, Psychopath he must be a psychopath!! I am far from being one, in fact they got it all wrong!” He threw the officer at the brick wall at the very end of the ally. Officer Billy growned trying to stand but fell again, his curious eyes looked up seeing the killer take off his hat.

He screamed at what he saw, a wrinkled face, that didn’t even have holes for eyes, or any type of nose. His face was empty except for a big mouth that spread across his face with jagged fangs that were extracting. He ripped off his gloves showing the same yellow paste color for skin that was on his face was on his hands as well.

As Officer Billy screamed, the killer just laughed throwing his head back, his hands clapped together. “Yes, yes, lovely isn’t it? Tell me Officer, am I handsome?” Officer Billy laid back against the brick wall trying to token back by the hideous sight.

Officer Billy closed his eyes to try to get rid of the ugliest and most disgusting sight he ever saw.

“You can’t escape my beauty, Mr. Billy.” The monster chuckled. “So to give you stupid blue collar, a little bit more knowledge of this ‘killer’, he isn’t a psychopath, he is a monster. Are we clear? Are my words clear enough for your slow brain?”

Officer Billy shook his head wildly with a panicky breath his eyes still squeezed shut. He could hear the monster taking off his jacket and throwing it at his face. “I feel it is getting hot in this ally, don’t you think so Billy? Your face is certainly getting red, am I that attractive?” The monster said tauntingly in a teasing fashion.

“Stop it…stop it. STOP IT, STOP, STOP, STOP, I HAD ENOUGH!!! JUST SEND ME TO HELL YOU DEMON!!!” Officer Billy screeched writhing under the jacket before throwing it off after seeing his gun was no longer inside the coat.

He looked back at the creature once more and screamed louder, gurgling on his spite.

The monster, was something else, it had legs that were limp growing out of his back, but they were not human like legs. They looked like flexible limbs of spider that could stretch out to wall to wall to lift him in the air.

“What are you?” Officer Billy said shakily pointing his fat finger at the creature who pointed the gun at his face.

“I’m what you just called me, all that you can understand. Just a demon to bring you to hell. But I’ll kill you with the very thing you carry because betrayal of your own weapon is the worst way to die. If you read old literature you would find many cultures found it the worst way to die. They grew incredibly bonded with such a soulless blood thirsty objects. It fascinates me, legend says it is the worst way to die because your soul takes it so personally. I really want to test this out with you.” The monster lectured, pointing the pistol up and down the man’s body.

Officer Billy could no longer cry no more and just in horror stared at the demon. He began to watch the demon’s limbs began to move gently lifting themselves up in flexibly. They had little knee caps every few feet that could lock and unlock to bend every which way he desired. Two of these limbs, gently went to Officer Billy’s face and stroked it.

As if it were a romance, the limps, that were knobs at the tips, went down the body of its victim. Other limbs fallowed and slithered around his body squeezing like a big snake. The man writhed like a fattened rabbit, coughing wildly until blood shot from his mouth, dribbling on his double chin. The limbs relaxed when this happened before slowly letting the small sharp hairs on the limbs rub against the clothes of the officer.

Officer Billy watched terrified, it was not a pleasurable feeling as his clothes began to rip by the limbs covered in small hairs. It tore his shirt and pants in no time. He yelped when it came to his underwear.

“Don’t worry, I am not cruel. I’m feeling awfully nice, so I won’t cut it off awhile you’re alive.” The demonic force hissed.

The man breathed heavily, he gave up his struggle for life. His fat belly looked smaller as if the fat inside him was building up in his throat, so he could vomit it all up. He was choking and his eyes looked downward seeing a limb squeezing around his neck.

“Look at me.” The monster ordered as he released the man’s neck. Only that limb retracted back to its master and it swayed with the wind. “Killing a soul is more difficult that you would believe it is, because each time it breaks off a piece of the killer. But I’m killing you for one purpose only. I’d wish to address this before you die.”

The Officer weakly nodded feeling the limbs grow looser on his body. “Go ahead.” Billy looked for any signs of patrolling police. Perhaps if he stalled the killing he could prevent his life being token.

“You live, in an Apartment housing 935 street correct? Next to that little doughnut shop?” The demon cocked his head.

“Well yes, why???” The police man whimpered.

“Well I’ve come to give judgment.” Hissed the demon with pure hatred. “I've watched you, have a very nasty temper with the woman owning the little doughnut shop today. She was the older lady, the only lady in the store that current time. She said she wasn’t going to welcome her service to you no longer because of how you disrespected her and her beliefs. By law that is still okay for a small business owner to say such things and go through with them.”

“I didn’t mean too! I swear! I was in a bad mood, I was drinking the other night and it was a very bad hang over. I just wanted a fucking doughnut!!!” Screamed the man in panic. “I’m innocent!”

“Humans…disgust me.” The monster lowered his voice. His head, turned away from the naked man. “I am ashamed that you would even lie to me, and not attempt to apologize. I would have probably let you live….no I wouldn’t, humans like you have no right to live. Not after the way you beat the poor woman, pulling her in the back where the kitchen was.”

The Officer grew quiet an ashamed.

“What kind of officer, stabs, an old woman with a kitchen knife and leaves her bleeding on the floor? You even threatened her with your gun because you were addicted to the sugar in the doughnuts. You let your belly get the best of you, your morals became nothing.” The voice of the demon filled with emotion and raw anger. “This is why you must die!”

With the killer’s last words he shot the man in the head. He shut the man 9 times in the head 3 in the belly and 5 at the heart. The body grew limp and the blood soaked the snow even beginning to melt it. “I won’t remove your head nor heart. You’re unfitted and unworthy you pig. But I will mark you as a disgusting prize so all will know what has be done. My judgment has come thy will be done as earth as it is in heaven.” Mocked the killer.

The limbs went to work flipping the dead body over, lifting the body in the air before bending closer for the killer to make his mark. With a small double edged knife, the monster began to cut into the rolls of fat. In the end it was the complete work was of his spider.

The limbs slowly lowered the body on the snow where there was the most blood. The limbs went back into their first position when the jacket came off. The killer put the gun on the back of the man, on top of the body of the spider. “Beautiful…” He said softly.

“Officer Billy? Come in, check one, two, three?? Billy boy, where you at?” Called from a static filled walkie talkie, that was still attached to the pants belt.

The monster chuckled deeply and swayed himself towards the belt, one limb shot out from behind him, gently scooping it up. The yellow, long rotting fingers wrapped around the machine proudly. He clipped it off the belt and brought it close to his lipless mouth. His mouth stretched wide to his cheeks as if he was smiling in humor.

“Checking in one two three, especially nine five three.” The killer hissed proudly. “I hope your recording on the other end because your on the line with the killer of your comrade, the most infamous one in all of the city.”

The other line was silent but with static.

“Judgement has come to this one, but more will come till the ending of my goal. Till next time, my good officers, try giving this piece of clues to your officials because you’re still doing a terrible job. Come up with a better strategy, because you’re making this to easy, I could kill this whole city in days in style too. Also, I’m not a psychopath it’s extremely offensive to call me that and the next time I hear it on the news or an radio talk show I’ll sew the lips of the speaker and shove them into a sewage plant, headless and heartless. Have a wonderful night, the body is on Yuickish Parkway. It’s the yuckiest street, not hard to find.”

Before there could be a response on the other side, the killer threw the walkie talkie to the closest wall, it smashed to pieces, springs and gadgets spilling out on the snow.
